Sal's Family Deli & Grill — Restaurant in Middlesex

If you have time to waste than head right over to Sal's Family Deli & Grill where the wait in line feels like eternity. If you go to Sal's Family Deli & Grill than be prepared to wait 15 to 20 minutes just for one order. There's no reason why it should take so long to prepare a simple wrap or panini. It doesn't make a difference on whether you go there when it's crowded or when there's no one there because they're always going to take forever to make your food. This was my first visit to establishment and I have to say very clean and organized. I haven’t tried the food yet. But it saddens me to say that I was treated very rudely on my first visit. I was greeted with a welcome but the service afterward was distasteful the attendant spoke to me as if I was less than human giving me the painful look as if I was in wrong place. She proceeded to rush me. As she couldn’t help me so she called for help and a man assisted her who barely made eye contact with me and also with out haste telling me I was wrong and in fact he was wrong. So I ordered the beef empanadas and a streak omelet. I have to say I was a bit skeptical of ordering empanadas to go. But everything held up very well! The staff here was also very helpful and very friendly. This is from the Middlesex location. But the empanadas at both locations seem to be of the same consistency and both very good. I would definitely recommend coming back as their prices are reasonable in relation to the quality and portions of their food! The only bad thing I can say is that I didn't win anything on the scratch off lottery ticket that I bought .... Bummer. But if your interested, they also sell lottery tickets you can buy while your waiting...
