Naples Pizzeria — Restaurant in Middletown Township

I felt like we were a bit taken advantage of.

We ordered a large pie with “extra extra sauce”

A large regular pie is $12, we were charged an extra $6 because we said extra extra sauce. It would have been nice if we were at least notified over the phone that up charge! We didn’t have a menu when ordering over the phone. But we’re surprised at the price when picking it up. We have ordered from multiple pizzerias roughly $13. For the same order. None of the pizzerias ever charged for extra sauce but fine I can understand an extra charge. I just can’t understand a $6 extra charge.

The pizza did have extra sauce but not like someone just poured $6 worth of it on top. The guy told us there is sauce on bottom of the cheese and and on top- so if it’s 1 extra layer of sauce then why $6 of an extra topping costs $3? Yes there was extra sauce but it left me wondering what a regular pie looks like then- because it felt like it had a sprinkle of cheese and sauce and then the extra extra sauce on top and it was all still very thin. The crust was pretty dry.

The flavor of the pizza was good but i would not be repeat costumer. I don’t mind paying but I mind being taken...

Tonight my fiancé Joe Joseph Glynn and I decided to go to Naples Restaurant in Middletown for the first time. We always order food from them but never actually gone into the restaurant. OMG!! What a wonderful experience. First of all, the staff is amazing. The atmosphere is like family with other patrons as friendly as can be. My fiancé ran into long lost friends who he hasn’t seen in 40 years not to mention other friends as well. The food was exceptional. The garlic bread caprese, cheese ravioli and shrimp special from the specials was to die for. My cheese cake dessert was moist and satisfying. We couldn’t get enough of the specials. The owners were personal and friendly who engages with their customers and make you feel at home and special. I had to literally pull my fiancé by the ear to get him out of Naples. By far the best food I have found in the local area. We have been ordering from here, via delivery for about 12-18 months. We have had the entire time from our one bank card being issued, to the point the bank sent a new on, due to the old card expiration date approaching. Not one issue in that timeframe. Than we found this restaurant, we have had to shut our card down 3 times so far in the past 6-12 months. Be careful when using a card to order delivery from this restaurant, as they write the whole card information on your receipt, which they than hand to their drivers, giving the free range to do with as they please. While there is no proof that their drivers stole our information, having our card number, etc, on the receipt, and handed to the driver, does raise a red flag. Again good food, but 3 compromised cards in a 6-12...
