JAKL Beer Works — Restaurant in Middletown

Awesome beer, laid back vibe. This has become my favorite brewery in the area because they really care for their patrons. I’ve attended two paint nights and trivia in addition to just getting beer, and it’s a great community. Last time I got a beer free because he’d overheard that I was a teacher and they have a “pint it forward” program—I didn’t even ask. I also love wheat beers and all of JAKLs beers that I’ve tried have been excellent.

We stopped by on a Sunday, had a great visit, enjoyed some great beers, and had a good time talking with one of the partners. They have a great setup with lots of space to spread out, and tons of opportunity to add on between a large outdoor area and plenty of room in the tap room.

Walked in and walked right back out. Came in on a Sunday afternoon with a friend and was greeted with stares. It was so uncomfortable.
