The manager, Luis, couldnât be bothered by the fact that his employees got an order wrong. On top of that, he didnât want to make anything right to sweeten the deal with a couple of taquitos since I left and had to turn around and drive back just to get literally half of my meal that they had forgotten to give me. This was all after sitting in an empty drive thru for 5 minutes before they took my order, but only after taking the order of a different vehicle that had just pulled up to the second order sign. I should also add that when I arrived back at the store, two other gentlemen were upset after waiting on a simple two meal order for 30 minutes. People out here have to deal with crap service and fast-food chains quite often, unfortunately. Itâs looking like this NEW Whataburger will be playing in line with that as well. Sloppy(literally) sandwich making, not honoring their screw-ups, and a âdonât give a care attitudeâ by the manager are what will give this place a bad name, just like the rest. Send the manager back to class, because he had none. He definitely knows how to negatively degrade a situation. He knew I was waiting for the taquitos and spoke Spanish to another employee when I asked about the add-ons. Negatively Iâm sure, instead of saying something directly to me, the paying customer with an order that was provided wrong. Do better...
Read moreWe are from NM/TX transplanted to VA. Anytime we are traveling in this area we crave Whataburger. This location was a huge disappointment. We were hopeful because it looked new and clean. Firstly, it was freezing in there. When we asked if they could turn down the blowing air the rep stated the air wasnât on even though we could see their Christmas decor blowing all about. We were very clear about what we wanted and didnât want on our burgers and they screwed all four orders up. Third, and this must be why they keep it so cold in there- a junkie was in the womanâs bathroom as I walked in. He tried to come in as I was in there but luckily my husband stopped him. I know this isnât necessarily the restaurantâs fault but if youâre traveling maybe itâs best if you just go next door to Chick-Fil-A or just use the drive-thru if youâre not picky about your food. I think the disregard about the temperature in the establishment was the most off putting. Never...
Read moreI normally love Whataburger, I grew up in Texas eating there regularly. However, my recent attempts to eat there did not work out. First try: attempted to order online but could not process order after multiple tries. I went to a nearby restaurant and the lines were backed up into the street with no options for people dining in to exit. Second try: placed the order and after 20 min another customer let everyone in the restaurant know the power was out in the kitchen and they were getting a refund. Received a refund and tried another Whataburger. Third try: the restaurant was freezing (it was 35 outside), ordering took forever, staff was not familiar with the system. Ended up eating in the car, was much warmer. Burger meat was cold, the bun was stale but the veggies seemed fresh. I may try again next time I'm in Texas, but it's certainly not the experience I...
