West Texas Inn & Suites with Kitchenette — Hotel in Midland

This place has no business in the hospitality business. I was charged $50.00 for a damaged comforter that had some chocolate on it. (Turns out my little one may have spilled a small amount of BBQ sauce) I said nothing to them all weekend when we asked multiple times for a new pillow, towels, and our phone didn't work. They never came in after the first day and never even replaced our garbage. The place had spiders on the window ledges and I know its not their fault but I heard there was drug activity around that area and they did have the mortician company outside our door that weekend taking someone away. That very well could be a coincidence so I do not blame them for that. The one thing that was weird is that when they did come in the one time during the weekend, our brush was missing. Why anyone would steal a brush I don't know. We searched all over and never found it.

When I talked to the owner about a comforter that was ruined they insisted that there was no negotiation and that the bad services was a different issue. I told them if they took the charge off I would hold my thoughts to myself on the review. The owner then said that was a threat and that he was going to talk to his attorney. Reviews are not illegal as long as they are true.

I just want everyone to know that the free breakfast is toast, honey buns, a waffle, and cereal with one type of milk. There is no lounge you just eat at two small tables in the lobby.

The geographical location was nice and the price is cheap because the service is horrible and the WIFI does not work well at all.

UPDATE: I called back and tried to level out with them and asked for the comforter to be sent to my house at my expense since I am buying it and they cannot use it anymore. They refused. So they are now going to probably wash it again and use it again.

I am no house wife but can any of you tell me if this looks stained? We didnt have juice or anything that should cause stains on the bed. This could be nothing but BBQ sauce my kids had and if it wont come out why not send me MY BLANKET?

It's definitely not worth the price. First off, the rooms and walls are not properly cleaned. Second off, the shower walls are absolutely disgusting, and there is no way these walls have been washed properly since this place was put up without disgusting the grout. The microwave smells absolutely horrible and will make your food taste disgusting. You can hear rodents in the walls running around and chewing on things. Housekeeping makes so much damn noise from around 8:30 a.m. to 3-4 pm. They go past all of the rooms like 10 times, making so much racket.... It's like there's a train on the landing. None of the housekeeping speaks english. The insulation obviously hasn't been redone since this place was put up because you can hear every noise from the neighbors' rooms around you. People are always slamming doors even in the dead of night. Other customers are constantly pounding on the walls. Not to mention, the internet doesn't even reach most of the building, so you are forced to purchase your own internet to use while staying here, or you just have to go without. The jackass at the front desk is absolutely useless. He refuses to give any information and is constantly staring at his phone. Most of the time, housekeeping doesn't even wait for you to answer the door before they decide that they're going to enter your room while you're still in it or...

My Boyfriend & Our Roommate have been staying here for work for the Past 3 Months , Never had any problems what’s so ever Till “ Geta “ the lady receptionist started working here. She’s called the cops on us (10-1) for miscommunication on her side with her coworkers. When our check out / Next day to pay was (10-2) When asked if she could just call the Other guy receptionist to clear up the Miscommunication , She began to get Hostile saying “ No You have to deal with me , and you have to pay or leave “ !
