The Dessert Bar — Restaurant in Midlothian

Such a fun new spot! We stumbled upon it after dinner and decided to check it out — so glad we did! Our group tried several drinks and did a tasting because everything sounded amazing. We had the White Cosmo, Lemon Basil Cocktail, Dragonfly, and the Espresso Sundae Martini (yes, there’s ice cream in it!).

Even after trying them all, we still couldn’t pick a clear favorite. That said, the Espresso Sundae Martini may have had a slight edge thanks to its unique presentation — it even comes with a spoon!

We also shared a slice of the lemon lavender cake, and it did not disappoint. The texture was light, and the icing was just right — not too much, not too little.

The staff was friendly and quick to check on us, and our order came out promptly. There was music playing, but it wasn’t so loud that we had to shout to talk — a perfect balance.

Excited to have a new place for drinks and desserts. Can’t wait to go back again and try...

It was our first time visiting and probably will be our last. The place itself is pretty small and when we arrived on a Sunday evening it felt very crowded. The desert setup was in the corner near the bar area where employees come in/out of bar to serve guests. This makes it almost impossible for to go order guests to pick a desert as you are in the way of the employees. The lady who helped me appeared very distracted by a large party as she shouted in front of me to a kid to move away from a couch. This really prevented this from being a great customer service experience. They served my son great value ice cream (Walmart brand). For great value ice cream, 2 slices of cake and a small “tin” cake the total was $35. Hopefully they can make changes to make this a great...

Amazing customer service. I Took my wife to a Pop up event to get a bracelet. They were packed and we had our child with us so I sat at the bar to be out of the way. Even though I wasn’t ordering anything I was checked up on multiple times and offered free water. Even though they were clearly busy they did not seem stressed and worked really well together.
