Vito’s Midlo, ikyk, there was an amazing place back. The 90s irving vito’s irving level of amazing.

Folks, we just had the most incredible Italian dining experience at Viva Italiana Midlothian—believe me, it’s tremendous! It’s a hidden gem, a major success story in small‑town Texas. Just phenomenal.

Let me tell you, I love restaurants. I know restaurants. This one? Top notch. People are saying—it’s authentic, real Italian, very classy but not pretentious. You walk in, you feel like royalty. Absolutely beautiful.

Service? Amazing. The staff is friendly, attentive—so polite. A real family‑owned spot. Yelp reviewers are raving: “Hands down best Italian food ever !!!!!” — a true hidden gem . TripAdvisor says: “Good food, great service … fresh ingredients” . That’s high praise, folks.

The food is exceptional. Pizza? The crust is perfect—crispy, with that chewy middle. Toppings generous, sauce delightful. One Bite folks give the community a solid score, it’s legit . They’ve practically mastered it. Pasta dishes? Consider them winners—Chicken Alfredo, lasagna, calzones—they’re all fantastic. Wheree reviews even brag about the cannelloni stuffed with spinach and beef and their tiramisu that’s decadent beyond belief .

Ambience is cozy, yet classy—relaxing but full of life. Perfect for family, date-night, even a casual night out. Customers love the bread rolls so much they can’t stop eating them! One review said: “Bread was nice … some of the best rolls...

Went to this place with my kid to try it out after an event since it had good reviews. The service was to be expected. Nice older lady served us. I ordered the trio sampler and I got my kid two slices of Neapolitan pizza with pepperoni. We ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer as well. My meal came with a salad. The salad was pretty standard for a place like this. However mine came with ice cubes so I would recommend passing on it. We did get some rolls for the table, that was good. The mozzarella sticks were fine and no complaints there. The pasta I got was overcooked lacked salt and any overall flavor. My kids pizza was burnt in a bad way. It also had a additional sweetness that was clearly not coming from the tomatoes. Almost like they added additional sugar to it. I understand that going to a place like this, you should have low expectations but at least make the food on par with a chain quality at the least. If you are looking for decent American Italian just go to Moni or Bellucci's Italian and save yourself the...

how in the world did this awesome eatery wind up here? it is a small quaint mom and pop like you would find in the northeast. i have been to places like this in philly, new york, boston but never down south. the tea is strong and has flavor unlike most eateries. i started with the fried mushroom. i expected an out of the frozen bag variety. that was not the case. giant crispy fried deliciousness. for my entree' i had the Chicken Scarparelli which i had never heard off. perfect blend of spice and flavor. the chicken was pan sauteed which made it super tender. the sauce is a lil sweet and made the perfect vehicle to deliver all these flavors to my super excited taste buds. it is a small place that fills up. the service is prompt and polite. you may have to wait a few minutes for your food because this ain't garbage fast food it takes a few minutes to get it together. if you are in the area go there. your taste buds can...

Fyi, BYOB.. BEER WINE... Great food wife had the chicken alfredo lightly breaded chicken - love the flavor of the chicken. I had the chicken parmigiana red sauce good flavor. Chicken was not dry it was moist tender. Also had the cheese sticks with ranch and marinara Waitress said she was newish she did a great job. Salad was good house with ranch. Croutons tasted like they were made there.good croutons. There was a gentleman there with a black apron he asked how were doing. idk if he is owner or chef, but very polite. Atmosphere was nice not to loud and not to quiet. Nice calm atmosphere. I would definitely go here again. If you have not tried give this place a try.

This place is a gem, and probably one of the best "Family ran" places. The service is noteworthy, you can tell they care for every customer and provide a personable attention you don't get very often. Now the food, your meal starts with the bread rolls, and by the flavor they have, you can already tell the food is going to be authentic. I ordered the Cannelloni with spinach and beef and it came in a hot plate that kept them at the perfect temperature throughout. The picture doesn't do it justice, definitely coming back if I find myself in the area.
