My only complaint because everything was absolutely perfect, from the service to the esthetics to the super clean bathroom ( although I will suggest choosing a more, let's say Manly candle for the Mens Room because when I walked in, before the door even opened my nostrils were filled with very sweet flowery overload and I stopped and second guessed if I had entered the Womens Room by mistake Lol, Maybe a nice Oak and Leather scent ) So my complaint and suggestion is, the Beers need to be cold, like COLD. Not just below room temp cool but crisp cold. Maybe freeze the glasses? always a nice touch with any beer but for sure, turn down the temp on the Kegerators. Other than that, I was so stoked to have discovered this place and can't wait to come back and as with all places I like ( which is harder and harder to find these days ) I SEND EVERYONE I know TO THEM and even tell any strangers to go to make sure they stay in business.
The cheesy garlic breadsticks were great, rarely do I never need to add garlic and Iove lots of garlic but I didnt need to, I will suggest to make sure the cheese is evenly covored, noone orders cheesey breadsticks for one third of them to just be breadsticks but they were soooo gooey and good.
Got a pretty basic pizza with just Pepperoni and Bacon and Omg, it was perfection. LOVED the pepperoni ya'll...
Read moreI really loved this place when it first opened. I’ve been quite a few times. The last experience though needed some work. Our waiter was horrible. I understand this business hires kids who need jobs. I myself worked in foodservice in highschool/college. I get it. However, our waiter was constantly with his coworkers instead of attending to my family. We really tried to clue him in. I asked for water four times, and even had to ask the expo for it. I had to get refills for myself and mother multiple times from the bar and we waited over an hour to get our order taken. He blamed it on the computer system. Having worked in foodservice I knew what was up. When our order came it wasn’t right but we knew it would be another hour of watching him socialize to get it fixed so we said nothing. Not really sure why I left a tip to be honest, the food runner did his work and so did I. It was not busy. The experience really made me not want to come back. The food is great, but these kids need a manager/babysitter. I don’t like to complain about stuff like this but I could see this seriously affecting this business. We were not the only ones experiencing this issue that night. It was the longest...
Read moreWe visited on a Saturday evening. We made reservations on Yelp, but arrived early and they seated us right away.
The waitress delivered a small glass and a bottle of water at room temperature. I prefer a cold drink, especially on a 100°F day. My wife ordered up a bock beer from their ample supply of taps.
I ordered an unsweet tea, but requested a sample of their watermelon cider. The cider was good, but I opted to stick with the tea.
We ordered a family-size spinach salad that was quite tasty and way bigger than I expected. We also ordered up their pizza of the month, a taco pizza, which was very good.
The location is ideal and the inside holds up the historical integrity of the building in my opinion.
My only 'complaint' if there is one, the plates for the salad and the pizza are quite small. I found my food spilling off the plate and making it look like I am a very messy eater. I am not, usually.
The taco pizza was good, but like I said, messy, with the small plates as the toppings would fall off as you picked up the slice to take a bite. I liked the flavor and the crust was good, not too thick, not too thin.
Overall, a nice evening at a new...
