Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Midwest City

Today November 23rd 2023, at 12:49 p.m., I ordered four items and three tater tots. I did not check the bag before I got home which is totally my fault, But when I got home I realized they had missed one item. So I called them back and was referred directly to the manager, who was extremely nice and pleasant, I told her what had happened and I live about 15 minutes away from this location and she remade the entire meal for me so that it would still be hot for my family when I got back home. This is what I call good service!!!! The only gripe that I have is not at all with any of the Sonic employees whatsoever. In fact, every employee I talk to in this process was extremely nice and pleasant to deal with. The only gripe I have is that the portion sizes of these menu items have gotten completely ridiculous especially for the amount of money that we pay. Just as an example, I ordered one sausage egg and cheese croissant aka "Coissonic sandwich" And this sandwich was literally smaller than the palm of my hand. I asked the manager about this when I returned to pick up my new order she had made freshly, And I was told by her that unfortunately Sonic had changed the sizes of everything and they were now dictating the sizes of everything that they are allowed to make. Which I understand from a business standpoint, however if you pay $5 for a sandwich I think that sandwich needs to at least be the size of the palm of your hand, If not....a lot bigger. So today Sonic you get an A+ in my book for your customer service and especially for the manager on duty. However these portion sizes to price ratio is a ridiculous value in my opinion. I love Sonic, and Sonic in Del City is my favorite. My children even grew up going there as little babies, and then ended up working there as teenagers. I enjoy going there just to tip the young people who work there, as I stated before I know as my children worked there, and they were so happy to come home with tips. LOL they have the absolute best drinks in Oklahoma City in my opinion, I'm talking about soft drinks frozen drinks Etc. the absolute best thing you can do is this, remember there are three times during the day that they make half price drinks. I suggest going during those three times. They also have an app which I do not recommend even trying to use, which lets you get half price drinks all day long, and specials! The 1st time, the lady who brought it out (trenty or something different like that) was RUDE AF and couldn't take an order to save her life. When she brought the food out (after taking forever) I asked who took the order (bc they kept mixing up what I was saying and they brought it out wrong) she was SO rude and said "I did" w an eyeroll! I was only on a 30 min break from work so I just tipped and said have a good day! The next time I came. Still took awhile but it was a sweet car hop who knew EXACTLY who I was speaking about and she made that experience much better. She would get 5 stars but the other car hop did it in for me. Just hateful and doesn't know how to do her job! Especially when a person says no onion, no tomato, no pickle and you put ONLY onion, literally 3x when I tried...
