I have never been to a firehouse sub before today. I was given a gift card by my employer. The app and online order system was down. I called to confirm. The lady that answered the phone, when I asked if there system were down, said, "well I turned the tablet on". So I went to this location to order my food. The restaurant was busy but most had already received there food. There were three others waiting ahead if me. They are 3 workers. 40 minutes later, I got my food. Whomever runs this location might want to have a few more people working to help get orders out faster. On to the food. The subs were okay. On one sub, I asked for no onions, the receipt shows no onions, but there were onions. The other sub that was order was to be a cold sub and it was not. The oil and vinegar where on the side which I didn't ask for. The restaurant was clean. For my first time, not the best impression. Not sure if I'll give firehouse subs another try.

This was my first time eating at firehouse and overall it was a good experience. We ordered our food online through the store and went and picked it up. Our sandwiches were hot and they tasted good, but the ham sandwich was a little smaller than I was thinking it would be. If you’re not a fan of having to place your own order on a kiosk inside then this is not the place for you. It wasn’t a bad experience, but wasn’t anything special either.

Don’t advertise toasted sandwiches if they’re not. Decided to get less mayo this time in hopes of avoiding bread that is the same consistency as said mayo, and now I know why the bread is always slimy, they don’t actually toast it. I’d also appreciate the two pieces of bread are at least a little lined up when they cut the thing so I can avoid two halves that have a overhang of over an inch. Disappointing

Updated review. I had to get back on my old review because they just got super-good. Everything you order is delicious. The fact that you can choose the type of bread, Perfect blends of sauces and seasonings, finger licking good. I just wish that they also had fries, not just potato chips, and a better desert selection. But hey! They're a subs place. And they make the best subs in Oklahoma City hands down,. They've beat Super Subs at their game. Old review: I ordered online from the Firehouse one Sunday when my favorite, Super Subs Inc is closed. One of my neighbors had told me they were ok. Delivery was excellent, the lady who delivered was very nice and smiling, good clean packaging and all that. Very disappointed with the subs though. I don't even know where to begin. Sauces that would go on salads don't really do much good on a hot sub. Also, too much of those sauces make the sub rolls soggy. Very bad proportion bun/filling. On the veggie sub I ordered, the only actual thing I could taste properly were the mushrooms and the mustard. The beppers tasted watery and bland, even with all the spicy mustard sauce. On the meat sub, there should have been twice as much bun for the amount of salty meat part of the filling and with the lots of watery sauce it was just a mess. As it was, I practically ate a smushed soggy bun from which bits of salty stuff kept falling off. Definitely not ordering again even on days my favorite subs place is closed - I'll just go with...

Placed my order online and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. Walked in exactly 20 minutes later. There were 2 other people waiting on their food. I waited an additional 37 minutes for my food. I went home and neither of my sandwiches were correct. They were bread and meat. No pickle, no lettuce, no tomato, no condiments no vinegar and oil, no olive. When I called to have it corrected the lady that made my sandwich said she didn’t forget anything. That she just didn’t put them on the sandwich because it costs extra. Yet I ordered both sandwich’s online that way. She hung up and never offered to remake or refund our order.

I’ve called daily to speak to a manager and every time I’m told there is no management on duty at all different times of the day. I called the corporate office and they were excellent. This store is a franchise so they let the owner know of the situation and I was told by corporate it was the owners choice of what to do about the situation. I was told they will advise the owner to make it right. 3 weeks later, no phone call. Still unable to speak to a manager. And the $30 of food was a waste. Money I’ll never see again.

Essentially my money was taken from me, and apparently this kind of thing happens a lot with this location. Hopefully they will go under soon. By the looks of the reviews, looks like it will. One...

I am a big fan of this chain and have been patronizing them for years in both Oklahoma City and San Antonio, so I am disappointed with having to post this review.

Attempting to redeem a national promotion at this location, I was told flatly and unapologetically that this this location would NOT participate. This is, of course, each independent owner's right and I would have respected it if the denial was delivered with even a sliver of humanity.

Conversely, Gwendolyn M Campbell of Store 1461 chose to reference her multiple degrees in Marketing and how her bottom line was negatively impacted by participating in her brand's national promotion. She exhibited a visible disgust when alerting me to her participation in the "birthday" promotion and had little interest in listening to constructive criticism offered by a long-time customer.

Her employees watched without words as she boastfully asked me if I was trying to run her business. Even during what I would consider prime lunch hours, there were no patrons in the restaurant.

It is my hope that she is more receptive to her employees, patrons, and community when next the opportunity presents.

Lastly, I crossed the street to a locally-owned deli called simply "Super Subs" and had an Italian Philly grinder that would make a fireman from eastern PA miss home.

For that, I respectfully thank...
