Hands down, best American fare you're going to find in the greater QC area!

11 out of 10 highly recommend!

The chef takes great pride in his craft, you can tell the moment you walk in. The restaurant is tastefully decorated, while "busy" with decor, it's not too much, it's very well thought out.

The staff was friendly, quick to greet us and for being open a week now, they were very knowledgeable about the menu, which speaks of their character and the chef's leadership.

The beer menu has something for everyone, they've got artisan drinks and soda (Pepsi line) available.

We ordered bacon jalapeno wontons with the raspberry habanero dipping sauce as an appetizer.... Great kick from the fresh jalapenos, the smoky bacon balanced with cream cheese filling and the dipping sauce... It was so good I reserved it when the wontons were gone to dip my fries in while alternating with the queso dip.

My wife, oldest son and I all ordered the smoked brisket tacos... Wow! I'm a smoked meat SNOB and I am laying in bed, 9 hours after eating still thinking about that tender, juicy smoked beef topped with their house chimichuri. Our meals came with an abundance of fresh cut fries and a cup of queso. You'll definitely get plenty to eat!

Our 2 younger children split a pepperoni flatbread pizza and an order of fries. The pizza was completely devoured, but couldn't finish the fries, they filled up, which typically doesn't happen when we eat at places with "kids menus".

Next visit I intend to get the brisket dinner, my wife is thinking the same and my oldest son wants to try one of the smash burgers.

We got there a few minutes before 3pm, which is when they opened, by 3:02 it was a full house, but there was still seating at the bar. They're popular for...

Well it’s hard to explain….but here we go. I ordered the Chef Philly, my girlfriend ordered the drunken noodles and we split the crab rangoon pizza for an app. The pizza was about an 8”-10” pizza and would have filled us both up on its own. Everything about it is an A+. Off the chart good and did I mention only $10! Try and find me a even semi decent small pizza in the QC for ten bucks. Next the drunken noodles. This lady brought out a bowl the size of my head packed full of deliciousness. If I had a scale I’d a weighed it. Im guessing about 3 pounds of meat, noodles and amazing by my eyeball. Girlfriend said perfect blend of flavor and spice. I would have tried it, but I had my own battles to fight. I did the Chefs Philly. This is a Man vs. Food size portion. I got a footlong philly with a ridiculous amount of meat. It was melt in my mouth tender and them jalapeños had some kick. Im not a small guy and know my way around a sandwich. I never stood a chance. Now throw in a bowl of beer cheese soup and about two pounds of fresh cut fries and off we go. Did I mention the meals were less then $18 each. If you don't understand how cheap that is read on. You cant go to Subway and get a footlong, bowl of soup and bag of chips for this price. I fact checked that statement, so look it up if you want. Thats all i can say because I have to slide into my food coma now.

Ps them drinks ain't for the...

So the hubs and I happened to be in the neighborhood and decided to finally check out this place. We got there right at dinnertime and with limited seating it was full-inside-but tthere was 1 open spot outside outfront open.It was beautiful weather so we jumped on it.The menu was plentiful to choose from,I decided on the crab rangoon pizza and hubs got the California Burrito(I think thats what it was called). We did have a bit of a wait but it was worth it.Each dish was plenty big enough for 2 to share but we wanted leftovers. My pizza was heavenly.I'm drooling now thinking about it. It was hot,it was very rich, the crust was perfect, not too chewy able to be picked up,it came with fries(which I could have done without but they were very good). The burrito was made with brisket that had been cooked on the premises. It was stuffed and wrapped in foil and smoked.Of course I sampled it and the meat melted in my mouth,so tender and full of flavor for a burrito. It also came with fries. We were not disappointed. And we went home with leftovers. We will definitely be back to sample some other dishes which we were told can vary from...

First time here at the Dizzy Horse. Take out Tuesday. Met 2 nice fellas outside while waiting. As soon as we got in we placed our order and sat down and had a Cherry Bomb Blonde. We live in Annawan, which is a 40+ minute drive with traffic and lights. We could smell the food being cooked and it was great. Inside bar area was nice, clean and everyone was super nice. We got home and took pictures of each item we ordered. Everything was outstanding! Dizzy Horse lived up to all the hype. Absolutely will return.
