Spinner's Pizza — Restaurant in Milan

Just moved to Milan and was anxious to start trying to find a go to QC style pizza place near my new home. Had my first and last experience here. Sausage and mushroom is where I always start with a new place. I was craving pepperoni as well. The pizza was well made but I knew as soon as I picked up the $23.00 box I was going to be disappointed. Very sparse with all the toppings. There may have been three pieces of pepperoni, THIN layer of sausage, little sauce. Everything was good and it was cooked well but for sure the thinnest, most anemic example of a QC style pizza I've had. Honestly the best pizza in the Midwest as far as the mushroom and sausage pizza is concerned. I’ve tried many different pizza places. Nothing compares to that specific pizza. My family has eaten spinners as long as I can remember. My favorite memories are hanging with my grandparents and always ordering a LG sausage and mushroom pizza, and a medium pepperoni for my grandpa. Great " Quad City" style pie. I.E. Franks, Harris, Sluggers, Pizza Joint, Clint's, etc., etc.,. This one is owned by a nice family. Just don't get pepperoni, they guard it and use it like gold, just sayin. I have tried to get it a few times and have to dig through the whole pie to find a piece or two.
