Around 10:15am yesterday, my boyfriend & I placed an order through the mobile app. The order was confirmed & we arrived in the drive-thru at about 10:30 to pick it up. We were met by an automated voice through the speaker, informing us that they were “closed.” We proceeded to pull to the window, confused because their hours listed both online & their window say 10:00am. When we got to the window, a woman who was walking around inside looked right at us but refused to acknowledge us or come to the window. At this point, we probably would have drove away but the order had already been paid for. My boyfriend went inside the connecting gas station to try & get her attention (no luck although she 100% heard him) & then drove back around to the window where we were finally “greeted” by the rude woman who was working. She nastily told us to pull back around & order so we explained we were a mobile order. For whatever reason, she looked completely frustrated with us & without a word she turned around. We sat there for about five minutes before our food was handed to us & once again, the employee turned around & shut the window without allowing us a chance to ask for sauce, extra napkins or anything. We tried knocking on the window & honking but she wouldn’t come back so, AGAIN, we pulled through to the drive-thru speaker. Assuming we were new customers, the same woman asked what she could get for us & I explained we had just been through, needed more items & then I asked “out of curiosity, is there a reason why we seem to be such an inconvenience to you?” She proceeded to explain that they were short-staffed... that’s unfortunate but absolutely not an excuse to provide terrible customer service. Being short-staffed has nothing to with having a nasty attitude & not being able to treat your customers with respect. I will never come back here. If they are so short staffed that they aren’t even able to greet their only customer in a twenty minute time frame & cannot handle any extra responsibilities without lashing out at customers then corporate or whoever owns this Taco Bell needs to be aware & shut down while they hold a hiring event. Read moreI will go ahead and agree that this is the worst taco bell i have been to and might be the worst fast food place i have been to ever or darn close! We live locally and rarely go there because its so bad. About once a year i get the craving for taco bell and every time im sorely disappointed! Today the story goes as such.... i pull up to not be greeted at the drive tjru for a good 5 min. Thought they might be closed?!?! Nope someone comes on amd greets me then adds it will be 20 min wait. I asked why? They stated that they are understaffed and she proceeded to tell me the 15 reasons why. Ok ok. Spare me the details i just want food. So we proceed to order. They repeted it back to me. I pulled to the window. The wait wasnt too bad approx 10 min. Got my order and quickly noticed it was missing a side so i backed up and got the side. I got home and my entire order was incorrect aside from the 3 loaded grillers. So that was a wasted of $22. My daughter is particular being 6 years old she is picky..... as i am. Most had lettuce. I dont eat lettuce so i was out a meal and so was she. I did try to bite into my boyfriends meal but the rice was rock hard and hurt my tooth. Im curious how old the rice has to be to get that crunchy. I work in the catering industry (6years) and have been in the resturant business for 20 years. Im well aware of what the health dept requirements are and im sure this doesnt meet them. Sadly this is the typical at this particular taco bell. As stated from others i am extremely comfused as to how they are not shut...
Read moreThis Taco Bell/KFC has been there for years... we "try it" a few times a year to see if the service still totally sucks. The answer is YEP! We have NEVER gotten a right order. The wait is forever. The kids working there are usually rude, or messing around behind the counter. I mean, listen, I'm a manager and I love when my people have a fun workplace... but there is a time and place, and it's not when you have a line 10 people long inside and 5 cars outside. I've seen it all at this place.. food fights between the workers while people are waiting for their order to be taken. I've seen the manager yell at customers for "ordering things not on the menu" when they were clearly on the menu... all of us in line had a good laugh over that one. Dropped food, picked up, and served out the drive thru. Cleanliness is hit or miss.. Chicken is usually fresh or seemingly hours old and chewy, more the latter. Ya know, we live here, and frequent the fast food establishments often.. what is happening at this place that they can never seem to get it right? Or even close? At this point, I'll take even half way. That would mean TWO more establishments we could frequent.. McDs, Subway, and Arby's get old...
