Probably one of the most disappointing, disgusting meals I've had in a long time. Upon entering I was greeted by the smell of a backed up septic tank, something that lingered and came in waves for the duration of my visit. The salsa was shameful: oily, probably a few days old, muted, grayish-brown colors, and no heat - just bland and utterly forgettable. Salsa truly is the canary in the coal mine for Mexican restaurants: if it isn't fresh and tasty, run away. I had a quesadilla with chorizo for dinner that was salty but again no spice. I understand that the owners may feel that people from the NE can't handle spicy food, but this was ridiculous. Challenge your patrons with authentic Mexican food, which is spicy, flavorful, and can be a culinary punch to the face. Read moreI would give this place a zero if it was possible. The place is a dump. Upon arriving we were not greeted (we were the only customers). We had to get our own menus and when all the tables were dirty, we had clean our own tables. I ordered steak fajitas and my wife ordered a ground beef taco. The fajita meat was GREY (not one bit of char). I would suspect the meat was boiled, and it was tough and without any seasoning at all. My wife said she thought her taco was made with yesterdays meat and also was without flavor. Couple the poor service, the bad food, and the fact that the one window air conditioning unit was not sufficient to cool the building makes me say that we strongly suggest that this place be avoided in favor of ANY other food choice...
