I'd give a zero if I could. So disappointing. My favorite restaurants are still not doing dine in service because of the pandemic, so my husband and I decided to try here based on a relatives opinion. We ordered an appetizer and two entrees and nothing was edible. The calamari was hard to chew. It was like rubber and the breading just crumbled when you tried stabbing it with a fork. I wanted Veal Franchise, but they only had chicken and couldn't swap it because the veal wasn't prepped for the breading. That should have been a sign because I've been to other places and that has never been an issue. To play it save I ordered Cavatelli with Broccoli Rabe and Sausage. The pasta was so gummy it stuck on your teeth like glue and the sausage was water logged. I understand boiling it to be sure it's cooked through, but at least brown it. It was watery and tasteless. The entire dish was tasteless. My husband ordered the Shrimp and Scallops with Vodka Sauce. Thought he made a good choice because there were about seven really nice sized scallops, which I love. Anyway, none of the scallops were cooked and I personally thought the sauce was a thick mess. He ate a few of the shrimps and some pasta and we took the rest home, so we could nuke the scallops. The bread wasn't fresh. It was cold and rubbery, so all I ate was the side salad and one undercooked scallop. The manager seemed shocked, but did take the appetizer and my meal off the bill. Maybe it was an off night for the cook, but I'm skeptical when all three items and the bread...
Read moreOne of my worse "Italian" restaurants I've ever been to. There are multiple reasons I an leaving a 1 star and here is why. First the service; it was less then service, our waitress knew she was getting the gratuity tip because we were a large group of 12 people so we passed everything down the table because she said so and clearly didn't want to walk. Most of the things we asked for we had to remind her because she never brought it to us like simple things sugar for a tea, napkins pretty much anything and that's if we saw her. Pricing. Pricing for what you are served is definitely not worth it. Our meals contained plain puree sauce the industrial kind from a can, small portions that do not come close to higher end restaurants charging the same or less price. It was bland and boring. I now know why we were the only people there. I do not recommend anyone coming here it definitely isn't worth your money or time. You have a better chance of getting real Italian food in a freezer case or in the papered case at your local deli. I rather chef Boyradee over the food I was served. Meatless sauce, bagged salad, can sauce and nothing but poor food.-Aimee...
Read moreI ordered a salad in a pick up order tonight and I threw 95% of it out. I ordered an antipasto salad... It was made wrong and the meats were really wierd and rubbery with no flavor like they were boiled or something. No idea. The eggplant was breaded and soggy like noodles, (threw that away too, I didnt even know what it was til I re read what they put in their antipasto), there was no onion. So I was left with browning lettuce, tomatoes, olives, and the cheese. I literally threw it out and went elsewhere.
I also said I wanted a can of soda when I called and the rude man at the register was treating me like I was trying to steal it after I paid and went to grab one. He said you didn’t pay for that and I said well when I called I said I wanted a can of soda, “well I didn’t ring you up for that”, okay well here’s the dollar. Communicate with your team better. Because a girl took my order when I called. Literally couldn’t pay...
