Visited with a friend during our vacation to San Fran and had a horrible experience trying to place a to-go order. Everyone that came in to the restaurant for to-go orders was ignored. We waited 20 minutes before being acknowledged finally and waited nearly 30-40 more minutes for our food. The woman working the register this night was very rude to customers, cutting them off before they can ask their questions with curt, short, and rude answers. When I asked about the ETA for my food her reply was, "I don't know" and then she walked off. When I finally received my food, I checked it before leaving and it was made completely wrong and without sauce. By that time I was so exhausted with the ordeal that I didn't even try to go through the process of getting a refund. Then of course I received an attitude when I asked for the sauce in a cup that was supposed to come on my meal anyway. I even watched thenm give the wrong order to the wrong customer that night. It's clear they were understaffed or something but the employees/owners should not speak rudely to the people that come in to...
Read moreThis small Korean restaurant has been one of my go-to spots since 2022, and I can confidently say the owners and staff are consistently kind, courteous, and committed to providing great service. It’s a nice place with a welcoming atmosphere, and while it can get quite busy during peak lunch and dinner hours, arriving around 2pm usually means a quieter experience.
At times, the staff may appear a bit understaffed, but it’s clear they’re doing their absolute best to serve every customer with care and attention. I truly appreciate their effort and hospitality.
The food here is always satisfying. My personal favorite is their special combo of Gal Bi and Dumpling Tofu Soup. The Gal Bi is incredibly tender and flavorful, and the soup is comforting and well-balanced. Plus, the unlimited sides are a great touch—just let the staff know, and they’ll happily bring more.
Whether you're stopping by for lunch or dinner, this place delivers a consistently enjoyable experience. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates authentic Korean cuisine and...
Read moreThis is a restaurant that I pass by all the time so figured I should give it a try to see how Korean restaurants compare to South Bay. I'm honestly underwhelmed. The banchan is so so and kimchi is over fermented (meaning not as fresh). I originally was going to try the tofu soup but saw the big picture of budae jiggae posted all over the restaurant so figured why not give it a try. Budae Jiggae for those who doesn't know is based upon the story that after the Korean war, many Korean don't have enough food so they took leftovers from US military and cooked sausages, spam, and cheese along with traditional kimchi soup. Honestly, the pictures are misleading as the portions of the ingredients are much smaller. It's not bad but just not delicious for me to order it again. Maybe I'm spoiled by Korean food in South Bay or LA but it's...
