THE STAFF HERE ESPECIALLY General Manager JACOB PILLAY is horrid. This hotel staff could not care less about their guests. They treat their guests like they get kickbacks from hyper predatory tow truck companies that prey on people who are exhausted from travel and trying to figure out which parking spots are for hotel, for the apartments that look exactly the same right next doors, for the bank or restaurants nearby. Hands up and no sense of hospitality or responsibility for warning the guests about the actually environment they should be welcoming us into. I cannot give a low enough rating here for the laziness in the women who “welcomed” us and did not say a proper about the parking and vulture tow truck companies. ($400usd per night if they tow & $30 uber to get to the towing company at minimum). No t only did they not help situate a guest, they are indignant and condescending when there are problems that arise. This is the purse opposite of what you want in a hotel that caters to long term guests and a sense of home away from home. God awful general manager. Stay away. Also, my coffee machine had an old coffee filter that was growing mold as long as my grandpas beard. Disgusting. Just as an experiment, I rant the water through this coffee pot 11 times before it was clean. 🤮🤢🤮🤢

A well appointed area in an easily accessible location close to the international airport. Coming from the Millbrae station, suddenly they run out of directions. But still good. Rooms are very good a typical of Residence Inn chain. A Herman Miller chair is a well thought out idea for the office desk in the room. Shower area is good, but could do with a hand shower or a ceiling one. Still water force is wonderful and spacious. Sleep quality was a notch above. Couch area to watch TV was a bonus. Breakfast area was pretty interesting with a large seating area and wide range of granola or oat meal toppings. Coffee was one of the best brews I have tasted in a long time. Service was efficient and quick in the morning which is a big plus. Very close by to the airport and if you are one bag person, it is 2.25 one way from the airport to this place. Starbucks located closeby.

Super convenient long stay hotel with spacious room and full kitchen, located 5min drive from SFO. Laundry room is also available for cleaning your clothes during extended stays. One drawback is the subpar breakfast - if the offerings were more fresh and had daily variety, I would no doubt choose this place for all my future stays. Great for plane spotting if you get the airport view rooms!

It’s new. That’s the extent of the positives. Keep in mind we stayed here for about 6 days last month then another 4 this month. The first time I was thinking oh boy this place has potential but they failed then the second time, well here I am blasting them on Google.

Staff: I don’t want to be rude but they are NOT the sharpest tools in the shed. In fact some of these tools are so dull it’s laughable, I did at times laugh at the lack of common sense. This makes it hard to communicate and quite frankly makes your stay difficult.

Take one front desk lady for example, I watched one guest after another get frustrated with her lack of comprehension. When it was my turn, I dumb down my request noticing how difficult she seemed to be and she still manages to mess up and was giggling as she had me stand there 30 minutes trying deal with my request for a parking pass.

That parking pass by the way is NOT free.

Getting house keeping to come was our biggest struggle…and we only asked them to turn around the room once during our stay because, you know, the environment. They called it a refresher, basically they made the bed and gave us more toilet paper. We asked them to come while we were out, the day before might I add. We left at 9 showed up at 3 still not done. We called asked when they’ll come so we weren’t in the way. They told us in 1 hour. So one hour later we left for a walk so again we weren’t in the way. We came back and it wasn’t done. So we asked and again they said one hour, we just worked in the lobby at that point. By this time it was 6 and we were hungry so we left for dinner came back at 8…it never got done that day.

The next day, I actually walked up to the cart in the hall asked for toilet paper, paper towels and fresh towels and went back to our room. She got on her radio and said something in Spanish and the next thing you know they came knocking for my “request to clean the room.” Only a day late. Also this happened both trips.

Ok let me tell you about their attempt at marketing to us. Like I said, we’ve stayed here a bit but also other Marriott hotels around the world. They aren’t our first pick since they often cut corners as a company and it just feels like a fight for your stay everytime you stay at one. We’re obviously bon voy members though. So last night we checked in at 2am, late flight. We asked for a late checkout. The lady said no.

Instead of simply saying we need to turn around the room for the next booking which I could totally understand, she said, you guys are not elite bon voy members and that it’s a privilege reserved for elite members only. She went on to say choose Marriott more often and accumulate points to become elite status.

Guys, I was floored. I didn’t ask how to become elite. Infact she went on this whole rant herself. I simply asked for a late check out. Wasn’t their fault the airlines were delayed and we got in so late but holy moly what a pathetic sales pitch and what a snobby way for a cheap hotel to try to appear of prestige.

Price: it’s a cheaper hotel so you get what you pay for! Can’t complain.

On our last stay a homeless person wondered in and helped himself to breakfast, he was talking to himself and cussing, they staff asked him to leave to which he responded with verbal violence and for “their safety” they didn’t attempt to remove him. They said they’d call the cops but by that time he had touched everything and already wandered back out. Tough situation but the staff were totally useless in this situation. Sad to say, we’re going to try a different hotel and you...

Imma titanium platinum already 100 stays in 2024.... I have never came across trash service from the front desk. Had about 3-4 new agents and they all had stank attitude or scared to deal with elites. This my 3rd time staying here and realizing this. I even ask about my COMPLIMENTARY upgrade and the Agent Eloisa didnt even know what I was talking about. The manager seemed to train her and said out loud "you tell them no available room" girrrrl I was in the front desk for 20 min .. I CHECK THE APP AND IT AN UPGRADE AVAILABLE and Screenshotted it in case the front desk tries to be rude. and the manager even getting yelled at by an elite member SMH I said that to the manager and I said fine than I see two beds available Ill take that one instead.

But I liked Ruby.. she was sweet and trying her best to make up for any inconvenience! Sweetheart and a good worker!

I Got a delivery and they gave attitude to the person delivering it! It scared the delivery person that was the worker Lisa and she got a complaint from other members who were all getting rooms here that were my family into here at the hotel. Alot of people were getting rooms this weekend for the kids to swim and she was rude asking one of my neices "are all of you staying here??!" And my neice had to tell her no we here to visit family staying here. Smh

Literally the training for customer service needs to be embedded at this hotel. Ive never done a bad review until today! The Male indian manager 6/29 too wasnt helpful to their team either. Because he just had his airpods in when he was at the front desk and on the computer. I was very observant because I literally have been to over 100 different hotels and brands of Marriot in The USA and in different countries. I never seen any manager on duty act the way their managers were acting. THEY SHOULD HAVE SOMEONE AT THE ELITE DESK.... BUT THEY DONT ITS SAD and the ones they do put be the PEOPLE with No actual good customer service like Lisa. They just put the sign there for the free... Than the other manager 6/30 today didnt even apologize for the inconvenience either in the AM/early PM shift.

Rooms are great. HOUSEKEEPING TEAM ON POINT TO THE T! THEY DESERVE 5 STARS!!!! Anything I asked for on the APP it was coming within 10-15 minutes! I was shocked and happy!

I love Marriott and definitely understand that THIS IS A NEW LOCATION and they are under a lot of pressure being new and alot of new things going on under their operation. I just hope they work out their Customer service...

The Residence Inn San Francisco Airport Millbrae Station is a fantastic choice for travelers seeking a comfortable and convenient stay in the Bay Area. This hotel deserves the highest possible rating for its exceptional amenities and top-notch service. I stayed in late March, 2023 and the hotel had been open about one month.

One of the standout features of the Residence Inn San Francisco Airport Millbrae Station is its well-designed and fully equipped kitchens in each room. These kitchens offer guests the opportunity to cook their own meals and enjoy the comforts of home while on the road. The kitchens come with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher, as well as pots, pans, and utensils, providing everything you need to whip up a delicious meal.

In addition to the kitchens, the hotel is conveniently located near public transit, making it easy for guests to explore San Francisco and the surrounding areas. The Millbrae BART and Caltrain station is just a short walk away, providing easy access to downtown San Francisco, Silicon Valley, and beyond. A BART ride from SFO takes about 3 minutes once the trains starts rolling and costs $3.20. However there is a $6.00 minimum to start a new Clipper card. So plan on buying your round trip airport BART ride and don't lose your Clipper card.

The inspiring design of the hotel is also worth noting. The lobby features a sleek and modern aesthetic, with vibrant pops of color and bridge themed steel and brick accents. Comfortable seating areas invite guests to relax and unwind. The hotel's spacious suites are equally impressive, with stylish decor and thoughtful touches that create a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Finally, the Residence Inn San Francisco Airport Millbrae Station is equipped with all the modern amenities you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. High-speed Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and plush bedding are just a few of the amenities that make this hotel stand out.

Overall, I highly recommend the Residence Inn San Francisco Airport Millbrae Station for anyone seeking a comfortable and convenient stay in the Bay Area. With fully equipped kitchens, access to public transit, inspiring design, and modern amenities, this hotel offers everything you need for a memorable and...
