I had never had Golden Wok before today. I will not be ordering it again. 2 hours I had to wait for my delivery. No one called to update me on the order. I had to call to check on it. Three times I had to give them my phone number, then the man asked me what I had ordered and my address. I informed him when I ordered on the app the estimated time for delivery was 65 minutes. He assured me it was an estimated time. I said yes I understand that but it would've been nice to receive an update. He says hold on a minute and gets back on the phone and says he should be there in "a second". TWENTY FIVE MINUTES LATER the delivery driver shows up. I keep my frustrations to myself and said thank you. He says nothing. As he's walking away I tell "THANK YOU!". NO RESPONSE. I'm totally disappointed in how I was treated and the TWO HOUR wait time for my order was unacceptable. Had I not added the tip to my online credit card order there would have not been one given. No one even apologized to me or offered me any type of compensation for the amount of time I had to wait...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at Golden Work Restaurant in Erie. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a lady who appeared visibly unhappy, almost as if she was going through a tough personal situation. Her demeanor was off-putting, and it seemed like she wasn’t happy to see anyone.
I had placed an order in advance, which was supposed to be ready when I arrived. However, when I got there, I was told it would take just a minute more. I ended up waiting for 40 minutes, and when I asked for an update, they informed me that it would take another 30 minutes to prepare my food. So, I had to wait for over 1.5 hours to get my order. This is completely unreasonable.
It was clear to me that they are more focused on making money than providing good service or respecting their customers’ time. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I certainly won’t...
Read moreI order cashew chicken and paid extra for white meat chicken because I am gluten free. I ordered online and then walked directly in to make sure they had my order correct. The guy at the front desk was extremely rude. He said " my guys in the kitchen know how to read!" Then when another customer called in he started screaming at the people in the kitchen and threw something at them. When I received my order I decided I would never go back because of the way the gentleman had acted. When I got home, I noticed that I received breaded chicken so I could not even eat my food, but I wasn't going to call and complain because I didn't want to talk to that gentleman. I wouldn't want to go back anyway to get anything else....
