Justin was very nice over the phone and in-person, and he explained his background and knowledge of computers. However, I feel that the repair diagnostic was not thorough and that some information was withheld. What I mean specifically is that he pinpointed the error on my Dell laptop to one of 3 places, but had he taken the time to disassemble the computer, there was physical damage on the motherboard that could have been identified.
He waited until after performing the diagnostic to tell me that he doesn't work with refurbished (i.e. pretty much anything past manufacturer warranty) parts, so I had to take it somewhere else to get it repaired. I also paid for a second diagnosis since he didn't identify the problem. When I asked him for a written description/formal invoice, he said he typically only does that verbally but would email me one. I followed up and got a block of text in an email as my formal invoice and description of services.
Overall, I am disappointed with the service, but not his professionalism. I only wish some of this information had been stated up front and I wouldn't have wasted our time and my money. He is a nice guy and I'm sure he's great when he can fix...

When I broke the screen on my phone, I emailed Tech Nuts and Justin emailed back and forth with me with details on the part and when it would arrive, etc. I was almost an hour away so I asked a bunch of questions before I made the drive. He was super friendly, and the night I dropped it off, I was supposed to pick it up within the hour but I lost track of time. By the time I realized it, it was well after closing. My Mom and Dad have trusted Justin for years with their tech issues (so grateful for that!) and I took the laptop over there. Tammie greeted me and went out of her way to try to find a solution before we left PA.
