The Saucery Tavern — Restaurant in Millcreek Township

Dark, depressing atmosphere. Maybe that's what they're going for. I don't normally rate a dive bar this low because I actually like a good hole in the wall. Sorry, but if you're not a regular expect the bar to go silent (and stay silent). Nobody seemed to be having a good time, prime time on a Friday night. The owner ought to work on making the place a little more inviting. If it's making money for him/her then carry on, but it could be a lot better. Some house music would help since nobody talks once the jukebox goes silent. The popcorn machine doesn't look like it's been used for a long time. Smoking, no food. Beer prices were fine. The bartender was polite, but shouldn't sit so much at the end basically ignoring the rest of the bar. It's not the worst bar in Millcreek, but it's just not very good. Make improvements, the...

Love the saucery. Nice little get away bar. Always run into friends, the bartenders are fantastic, kind, and hard workers. And prices are reasonable. Will always be one of my favorite...
