I'm shocked that we only now have found this gem! I wish I'd taken food pics because everything was beautifully done, served hot, quickly, correctly and was delicious. My husband had the Fantasy French Toast, a bread pudding topped with real whipped cream & berries with bacon & he couldn't pass up the home fries. My California omelet was a lovely light egg stuffed with spinach, grilled tomato, onion & pepper, and ripe avocado with a melted cheese. My son had the Monte Cristo with a side of biscuits and sausage gravy. He LOVED it, The biscuits are fantastic. The coffee was good & Beth is a terrific waitress. There is plenty of parking, flat, no stairs, easy access. There are a few outside tables which would be wonderful in warm weather. The decor is wildlife Lodge styled with comfortable tables & booths. The bar is surrounded by carved stump seats, very cool. They offer lunch/supper items but due to staffing issues close at 2pm. We will be back😁. Put this one in your want to go file!

This place checks all the boxes… -Manicured exterior landscaping -Warm rustic interior cabin feeling with a variety of well preserved taxidermy, almost like a “Bass Pro Shop” atmosphere -prompt welcome -vast menu to choose from -Friendly attentive staff Oh yeah…and most importantly delicious meals!! I’m not sure who Lorie is, but she can be proud of her staff for providing a very nice dining experience! The detail in the decor of the facility carries over to the detail of what comes out of the kitchen…job well done! This was a first time visit and we plan to return. I enjoyed the Monte Crisco breakfast sandwich w/ a side of hash browns mixed w/onions. My wife ordered the Fantasy French toast dipped in bread pudding topped off with fresh berries & cool whip. A glass dispenser of warm syrup was a nice added touch to our breakfast meal. Thank you Melissa for providing our table with great, friendly service! FIVE STAR EXPERIENCE!!!

Picture Cabela's meets family diner. The aesthetic is very woodsy with taxidermy stuff on all the walls. The bar stools look like logs (they have backs). The food portions were large and inexpensive. The bean soup was delicious. The desert was the cheapest I have found at any dine-in restaurant in the area and it was sharing size (easily could be shared with four people). Unfortunately, they are only open 5 days a week until 2 pm (closed Sunday & Monday)

THIS DIAMOND IS LOSING ITS LUSTER! Lorie's has always been a great place for a meal. I've proudly taken others there because I could count on the atmosphere, food and friendly service. I fear that they've began a downward slide. Having noticed the cutting back of portions, I have become accustomed to requesting extra cheese, always making it clear that I would pay extra. I sent my omelette back today, got a small amount of cheese added and was told that there was plenty of cheese on it. They tried to explain that what I thought was egg was actually cheese. This, of course, didn't help the situation. I told them that I didn't appreciate being told that I don't know the difference between egg and cheese. They, unfortunately, doubled down by saying a Manager had made the omelette, as if a "Manager" cannot make a mistake.

This has proven, to me, that Lorie's has gotten so big that they don't appreciate every customer. I've noticed other cost saving measures that aren't the norm, such as breakfast potatoes being a garnish. That's so they don't give something else to those of us avoiding carbs. I truly hope they see that it isn't the cost of the meal, to some of us, it's the attitude we have to bear to get what we want. Lorie's doesn't appreciate me today, they might wish for...

My girlfriend and I went here after looking at a house. The inside is lovely and full of brilliance. The staff seemed very tense. This led to the first negative response. Our waiter kind of got antsy when we didn't immediately know what we wanted. I settled for a peach tea..she a sweet. We got what I would declare as the best onion rings ever. Like legitimately soooooo good. Use thousand island with them and the flavor profile will change your life lol. For our main courses I was stuck on the burger or french dip or tortellini. I snagged the burger and frenchy as I thought I would save one for later. The French dip was very bland but the bun nice and crispy. The au jus was perfect. The fries came on the plate sopping wet. The burger...well..to begin..it's a frozen patty. It tasted like it took a bath in liquid smoke for about a day and a half. The back was pulverized and thrown on the burger...the BBQ sauce...what BBQ sauce. All in all the experience was just ok. The only thing I would go back for is those onion rings...omg those onion...
