I would like to start my saying, the young employees working here are friendly but definitely not well trained and I do not blame them for this. I ordered one sandwich and got a bottled soda. The soda of which after one sip tasted weird so I checked the date and it was 1 year and four months passed expiration. Okay, it happens. I look around and the place is very dirty and there are very minimal people eating here and napkins are not restocked on multiple tables, okay, it happens. Maybe they were busy before I came in. What gets me is I ordered a sandwich, I was brought mozzarella sticks and my sandwich. I did not order mozzarella sticks. I was waiting to tell the kid working there we did not order them and another customer receives his order and says he is waiting on mozzarella sticks, I chimed in and said I believed I received yours. The kid working there walks up front, comes back, takes the mozzarella sticks off my table and put them on the other customers! Big no no! Then I go to pay I let them know about the soda, no charge, great! But a new order of mozzarella sticks comes out and the two children up front decide to split it and eat it instead of giving it to the customer. Then the employee could not break a 20 with singles and asked if it was okay to give seven dollars back with quarters and then proceeded to empty the staff tip jar to break change. SO, the young employees here although very friendly are obviously not trained well and honestly the sandwich here I received I could have made better myself. To the manager/owner, please train your employees about food safety. To the owner, I see you get offended over bad reviews. Please consider that sometimes people write to help you, not hurt you. Train your staff or get a...
Read moreDuring a visit to Six Flags today, we stopped by a typical Jersey pizzeria for a late lunch. The atmosphere was as expected, and we were warmly greeted with the option to grab some slices from the display or sit down and order from menus. Opting for the latter, we took our menus and settled into a couple of booths.
We decided to order a variety of items, including mozzarella sticks, garlic knots, grandma style slices, a spinach and cheese calzone, a Buffalo roll, a tomato and mozzarella panini, and a Sicilian style pie. The service was quick, and our food arrived at the table with a smile.
The food was a step up from your average pizza spot in Jersey. While the mozzarella sticks were standard and typical of any pizza spot, the garlic knots were fantastic. They were coated in a generous amount of butter and garlic. The grandma style slices had a crispy undercarriage and packed a lot of flavor, but the sauce could have used a bit more kick. However, this did not detract from the overall enjoyment of the pizza.
The Buffalo roll was fantastic and contained a generous but balanced amount of chicken, cheese, and sauce. It was served with a side of blue cheese. The panini was great as well, although they forgot the pesto, which made it a bit dry. The spinach and cheese calzone was fantastic, filled with high-quality cheese and spinach.
The Sicilian pizza was nice and softer than the grandma style, but just as delicious. Throughout the meal, we noticed the use of high-quality cheese, which was a common theme. Overall, we had a great experience and enjoyed the delicious food with...
Read moreA must stop when visiting six flags New Jersey. Less than 10 min from the park. Great atmosphere.
We had the garlic knots (not shown Bc we devoured them too quickly), tuna melt sub, padrino chicken wrap with fries, and a stuffed pizza with mushrooms, tomato, spinach, mozzarella and vodka sauce.
The food was incredible. It all comes out piping hot and freshly made. The fries are what dreams are made of, perfectly crispy and crunchy on the outside. The staff was very friendly. We had asked about a photo of a menu item not realizing it was the stuffed pizza from two years ago that they had long taken off the menu and they still made it for us! I was blown away by their willingness to accommodate us. If you can order the stuffed pizza you should. The pizza dough is buttery and light, crunchy and perfectly sandwiches the melted gooey cheese, and delicious toppings. I only wish I lived closer I’d eat here until I’ve tried every pizza. I don’t think we would have been disappointed with any one of them.
Highly recommend a visit to this place. If you fancy some Italian ice after, go for the spumoni. Again no photo because we devoured it. It is pistachio, chocolate and cherry flavored with real pistachio pieces throughout. It was delicious and melts in your mouth.
Again, don’t waste your money on food at six flags. Take a break from the park and treat your family to some delicious food at...
