Read moreVery surprised tonight as we ordered the nacho locos platter and the cook from the back brought out the order and spilled them on my 13 year old daughter ( who was having a night out with her friends) What happened next is what surprised me.... he chuckled and said sorry bout that. My daughter is holding an extremely hot metal pan of nachos and they are partially onbher arm, her clothes , seat and floor. He then turns takes the pan and gives it to me and my 9 year old to actually eat from ( it’s now missing 1/2 of the portion) oh and the items that I asked to put on the side were on the nachos. The waiter steps over and asks would I like for him to take it back and get the onions and peppers on the side since they fixed it wrong. I asked how long that would take he said it long...... a good bit later he comes back with a MUCH smaller portion on a plate about a third the size of the metal pan it was originally on.... oh and by the way the food that was spilled is still on the floor ready to cause a fall !!!!! We tried to stay composed . My daughter stayed in the bathroom most of the time.so embarrassed. Drinks weren’t refilled as they should have been and things like napkins where never brought to help with the mess. I asked a neighboring waitress to please ask the manager to come over . He was informed about the whole ordeal and then told my daughter he was sorry and he would take care of it... trust me I NEVER look for a free meal but he said those words. The next thing you know he comes back over as I was about to leave , thinking he had covered the bill . He took of the $14 nachos and said have a nice day. I guess at the end of this I paid my bill but will travel 2 minutes further to La hacienda for MUCH BETTER SERVICE and a less embarrassing experience. el Pasa failed on how they make their patrons feel. No reason to...
Read moreThe whole dining room is one room snd the tables are slammed together, and we were seated back to back with another table even though we were the only two parties in our section. It was really uncomfortable and cramped. There were no options for kids drinks except water and lemonade, fine, we ordered water ... my son complained it tasted funny which I pretty much expected because usually restaurants just fill it up with tapwater. I took a sip of it to assure him it’s fine and I almost spit it out all over the table. Not even being dramatic, it tasted like actual fish and the water was gray!!!! The waitress took the cup and came back immediately with it filled up again and said she had tasted it in her own cup in the back and it’s fine. She said “sometimes if we don’t run the water for a minute it comes out like that”... we stayed polite but I was really worried about how clean the ice was in the other drinks by then. We asked if it’s OK if we just bring a bottle of water out of our own car because I wasn’t even willing to try it again it was that bad. Fine. We waited another 45 minutes and she came back and said the kitchen is backed up. We thought that was a little strange since we were the only table in that section except one beside us who was leaving... it was 4pm so not a rush time... another 15 minutes went by and she came back and said that the kitchen had lost our ticket but was working on it now. We just decided to pay for the horrible drinks and tiny bowl of queso ($23!) and leave bc they still were just starting. Really weird experience and definitely...
