In the hour that we were in the dining room we saw multiple families get up and walk out, multiple servers start to yell at the kitchen that they need food for tables because they were going to walk out after an hour wait. Our appetizers were the mozzarella sticks and garlic knots, both were bland even with the marinara sauce. We didn't bring this up because we could still eat them. Our entrees were the 1/2 pound burger and the fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli and chicken. The burger was bland, the quality control on the tomato and onion cuts was horrible, huge chunks of each. The fries were completely unsalted. The Alfredo was watery and had the butts of the broccoli in. Again didn't bring this up because it was something we could still eat. The desserts we chose were the carrot cake and the cannoli. The carrot cake came with raisins, which was not stated on the menu and so my fiance didn't eat it. The cannoli was bitter, the chocolate sauce on top was extremely bitter and the pastry itself was hard to bite into it was so solid, the filling just tasted off. When we asked if we could get it taken off because they just weren't good and explained our reasoning our server was very polite about it and told us she'd inform the manager. When we went to pay the manager asked my fiance what was wrong with the carrot cake. He could barely get a word in that he doesn't like raisins and didn't know it came with them before she snapped at him that "all carrot cake does." She then turns to me and snaps at me about what's wrong with the cannoli. I explain what I didn't like and she gets enraged. She starts go on a long rant about how in the 3 years she's worked in restaurants she has never gotten a complaint about the dessert. That she's even sold 15 cannolis just today. She starts talking about how if you buy chicken tenders from Walmart you can't try it and return it because you "didn't like it". The entire time that she is going on this rant me and my fiance are absolutely speechless that she would speak to us in this way. We pay, and leave.
We will never be going back to this establishment. Let alone the quality control issues and the blandness of the food but mostly because of the customer service. I want to stress that our server was amazing. She was polite and tried to fix the issue for us, she was very quick and was a very good waitress. Our issue here lies with the manager.
I do not recommend this establishment to anyone. Go to Olive...
Read moreThis place is absolutely very rude. The manager that I spoke to was a lady in my 16 year-old daughter decided to try to get a job. She did not know that it was lunch rush honestly cause some places aren’t even busy at around this time she was just calling to get herself a job. She’s a kid and this lady was very rude to my child telling her off as soon as she called telling her that she shouldn’t be calling during lunch rush she even said what the hell is wrong with you , I tried to get a number to corporate or some other management and she said that she handles everything if you want a job here definitely don’t do it and don’t call during this time. They’re nasty over there and they will never ever have my business. She completely hurt my daughters feelings, I hope whoever you are your happy with the way that you spoke to a kid like that , she was just trying to get a job to start saving for college. You must be a special person to treat people like this , I only told my daughter about this place because every time we’ve eaten here the people have been very nice , but I guess that doesn’t apply to applicants , and by the way, if it is lunch, rush there Are certain ways to tell people that instead of completely belittling, a 16-year-old kid or any person at that , if you’re the manager, someone should definitely take over your position because you do not...
Read moreLuigi’s is a good, mostly laid-back restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing except for the fact that there was about a 30-minute wait, but it was worth the wait! I got the Italian sub, and it had very toasty bread but was soft on the inside along with very fresh ingredients. I also received the nachos and zucchini for appetizers. They were both astronomical! The bathrooms weren’t VERY tidy, but they were still functional and comfortable.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the seating arrangements were spaced well enough to walk at least 3 people wide. While there were a few accent walls and decorative items in certain spots, the establishment wasn’t very decorated, but that is to be expected from a small family-owned restaurant that just opened. The only major con is the restaurant’s parking area! There aren’t many spots for parking compared to the number of consumers. ⚠️DO NOT PARK IN THE PAM’S PARKING AREA OR YOU WILL BE TOWED. ⚠️ The only other few issues are the number of flies, which are currently being addressed, and the lack of AC, which I believe may be out. However, there are still space air conditioners. I would definitely recommend this ENCHANTING and INEXPENSIVE restaurant to anyone who enjoys Italian food and a good conversation with the other...
