Mama Lattes — Restaurant in Milton

What a cute inviting cozy place to enjoy your morning coffee and perhaps a bite to eat.

A close friend is a big coffee head. I’m not. But I’ve had ⭐️bucks before and this place BLOWS ⭐️bucks out of the water. No question about that!!

I have no idea what I got other than it was iced, had sugar free French vanilla in it, and coffee of some sort. This was the third cup of a variety of coffees they offer I’ve had from this place. I was NOT disappointed with the quality, at all.

My ONLY issues are the high price $$$ and the begging for tips:

I purchased my friends medium iced coffee and my medium iced coffee- it was over $11😳 For two MEDIUM cups of iced coffee. Two medium iced coffee’s, MEDIUM!!!🤯 That is an absolutely insane price for 2 medium cups of coffee no matter who you are. No, I have no idea what coffee goes for these day, but it is obvious it has gone WAY beyond what I’m willing to pay for it anymore, that much is very clear. As much as I enjoyed the coffee, Mama Lattes, the sticker shock is too much for me.

As for the “begging for tips” issue, as I paid for the two outrageously priced coffees we had ordered, the checkout computer asked me for a tip on the $11+ medium coffees. I have to refuse! Honestly it’s insulting to me. Not intended to be offensive here, but at that price, you can tip your employees yourselves, Mama Lattes. And while I’m on this subject, the fact you offer a tip jar is one thing, but you’re taking that even further to ask customers when we scan our card to add a tip on the computer also? It’s insulting. Respectfully at that price I’ll let you tip your employees yourself and not feel bad about it whatsoever.

I’m going to be very very honest: As good as my coffee’s have been I’ve had from here, it will be easy to keep driving on down the road because of the prices without even a second thought.

I would, however, like to congratulate Mama Lattes for being so much better tasting than ⭐️bucks 👍🏻

For what it’s worth Mama Lattes, I enjoy supporting local businesses wherever I go. So come on Mama Lattes, let’s get those prices down, A LOT! I’m sure I’m not alone here. I can easily see myself giving you more of my business if you choose to lower your prices. If not it’s fine. Truth is, I’ve truly enjoyed what I’ve had, but I will keep my money and keep moving on down the trail…on to the next one 😎👍🏻

Two stars for outrageous prices and the annoying begging for tips....

Blown away the moment I walked in. I read from another review to try the everything bagel, and it was just as good as advertised. Warm, but not burnt, and with a nice cream cheese spread (which is optional). I also tried the a mocha-flavored "Mamachino" and boy, it was like they read my mind. Nice, frosty, and a near-perfect blend of sweet and bitter.

The atmosphere is good, lots to look at and relax, they even have easy chairs and a couch, and a kids area. The biggest eye-drawer in my opinion is a little table for two set up at the very front of the shop, definitely a good spot for a romantic couple. To top it off, the customer service is just as advertised as well. My server was very patient with me and answered my questions with accuracy, and was the final push in selling the Mamachino to me.

The prices are the one thing I'm neutral towards: They weren't too ridiculous as I've read from other reviewers, but I can see where they're coming from. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this place as a must for any Milton/Pensacola vacationers and residents with a passion for coffee and family friendliness. Let me just be perfectly clear - I almost chose another place to work on my homework today. The building looked too small, I wasnt sure they would have comfortable seating, and I didnt want to pay an arm and a leg for an overpriced beverage.

I just LOVE being proven wrong! The space is open and airy, he art on the walls is cozy, the music is subdued, this couch is to die for (and I may have to fight someone if I show up and they are in my spot 😉🥰), they welcomed my service pup with kindness, and the beverages are EVERYTHING!

Don't get me wrong, I have only had one drink thus far but I'll be back here daily and I attempt to get this doctorate DONE! Thanks, Mama Latte, for giving me a quite, cool, cozy, quaint, colorful, and oh so tasty place to relax and to study. Yall arent gonna be able to get rid of me any time soon. 🤝🤜💣💥🤛

P.S. Did I mention that they sell metal straws and metal loose tea filter straws?...
