We recently discovered Corinto To Go, and I can confidently say—it’s one of the best finds in the area for authentic Central American soul food. If you’ve never had Nicaraguan cuisine, this is the perfect place to start. Every bite tastes like it was made from a cherished family recipe.

My wife ordered the shredded chicken over chunky potatoes with Nicaraguan beans—and wow. It was rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced. The textures and seasoning were spot on, and the beans added a deep, earthy flavor that tied it all together.

I had the shredded beef over white rice, topped with those same incredible Nicaraguan beans, and paired it with the corn salad—a light, sweet, and tangy side that brightened up the plate. The portions were generous, and the flavors were bold without being overpowering.

We also tried two of their signature drinks—the cucumber lime and black lemonade—and both were exceptionally refreshing. Clean, crisp, and just sweet enough to complement the savory dishes.

What really stood out is how healthy and wholesome everything tasted. It’s the kind of meal that leaves you full and satisfied, but not weighed down. You walk away feeling nourished—not just fed.

Cornitos is fantastic in every way. The food is delicious and it is very reasonably priced. The family working the truck are as sweet as can be. I don't know what more you could want in a no-frills food experience. Our house has decided we're eating at least one meal a week from Cornitos, that's how much we enjoy it.
