came to the subway today with my daughter and I purchased or attempted to purchase three sandwiches with a $40 gift card first manager possibly Hispanic heavyset. This was around 2:30 PM on March 14. Tried once or twice to run the gift card couldnât do it couldnât figure it out didnât try was quickly ready to dismiss the transaction and have us go without our food, I asked for Manager he claimed he was one, but there was another one working. He got another young man heavyset white male. He tried several different times even got on the phone with someone for whatever reason they could not take the E gift card asked me to come inside so they could take care of the other customers behind me. I had already been in line for 20 minutes not to mention the amount of time it took for them trying to run the stupid gift card. I have ran around to the other side of the parking lot sat in my car told my daughter to run inside and let them know not to throw our sandwiches away because I was going to try and re-order online , my daughter tells me that she overhears the manager that was heavyset male, possibly spandex, dark hair, dark facial hair say it to the other white male manager. Hopefully the transaction wonât go through so we can eat their sandwiches for lunch obviously if this was his thoughts. He shouldâve kept it to himself because it was within earshot of my daughter, who clearly heard to make this comment so it seems that there was no real effort on his part to even want to help me he was too busy wanting to eat my sandwiches as far as the heavyset white male he seem to at least try to make an effort, but still did not succeed. We probably were there a total of 30 or 40 minutes and they were very willing to let us walk out without the sandwiches. In fact they did I sat in my car and I replace the order online paid with no problem with my gift card and went inside and they just gave me the sandwiches. No apologies nothing at all no discount no nothing for my inconvenience. Meanwhile, this whole time my sandwiches just sat in a bag on the counter top nice soggy bread, mushy sandwiches, nothing fresh not at all but nonetheless sandwiches that clearly the one guy was hoping to eat. Customer service really needs to be better. First of all they couldâve went about this a different way, and they certainly should have been discussing eating our sandwiches and hopes that the transaction does not go through properly. Thatâs ridiculous , what happened to customer...
Read moreTerrible customer service. I had placed an online order on the app, and when I got there, I told them I was here to pick up an online order. The guy behind the counter says âWe donât have any online orders.â So I pulled up the order and showed him, and he responds âOh, it hasnât processed yet.â Which, okay, I understand. Iâve been a manager before in food service, so I understand when the system doesnât always process the order right away. But it had already been about 15 minutes since I placed the order. But I decided to wait to see if it would go through. Another 15 minutes pass by, and I asked the guy behind the counter âHey, has my online order processed yet?â All he says is âNope.â At this point, Iâm a bit frustrated and upset, because to be honest, what he should have said when I walked in and said I was picking up an online order was âOh Iâm sorry maâam, it looks like we might be having problems with our online ordering system because we donât have any online orders. Can I see your order? Iâll start working on it.â And I would have been fine with that. Because if a customer can clearly show you an order they made and paid for online, but you havenât received it yet, that should be the first thing you do is apologize and ask for their order so you can make it. Thatâs how me and the other managers at my old job trained our employees. But no, he doesnât even bother to try to help me. And at this point, my order had been placed 30 minutes ago. So I said âIf I show you my order, could you make it for me please?â He just says âI guessâŠ.â He was very rude. Well he makes my order, and they were out of a lot of product. Which I get that the regular employees canât help that. Sometimes the truck is delayed due to weather, or something else happens to delay getting the truck on time. Or maybe thereâs a shortage of a certain product. But other times, itâs honestly just poor management ordering the truck. I feel like this is one of the stores under poor management, because it seems they canât even train their employees to be courteous and helpful when their online ordering system is messed up. 0/10, do not recommend...
Read moreMy deaf fiancĂ© and I went together and had a great experience but the last two visits werenât so great. So I noticed theyâre ârespectfullyâ rude to deaf/hard of hearing. I went to place Trentons order and was interpreting for him. After I finished his order the guy told me ânext time he can write it down and itâll be much fasterâ. Yet, before we started our order the same guy making the sandwiches, stood there with the customer before us chit chatting away about a motorcycle for about 10 minutes. Anyways today, I went in alone and there was a lady in there, who was hard of hearing, asked if the worker could pull down her mask just a little so that she could read her lips and the worker said âno I cannot do thatâ, as the kid next to the lady had no mask on making sandwiches. (The worker was a bigger female with really short hair) Unbelievable! Anyways I stepped in to help this sweet older lady and helped her hear what was going on. She explained she was having a really bad day so I paid for her meal. It brought tears to my eyes seeing how she was being treated. Everyone else that was working today was nice. However, Iâm extremely offended by those specific workers actions.
Every other time Iâve gone in there Iâve seen some with masks and some without, I genuinely think the worker was being rude and was trying to embarrass this women. I donât think I will be stopping...
