Tastecraft Coffee — Restaurant in Milton

I’ve been going here for years. Their coffee ( we usually get ice lattes) is pretty good. It’s neither bitter or too sweet. They are super creative each month coming up with new ideas. With that said, the service has been poor lately. At first I figured “we are all human and have bad days,” and didn’t think much other than that. But over the last two weeks the girls working seem incredibly angry, short, and the one day it seemed like the two of them were upset with one another. A day after that, there were two of them carrying on loudly talking about games etc ( which is fine ) but then when handing out the drinks and taking the order had nothing to say. Not even a nice “ I hope you have a good day, thank you.” In the past I was always used to the people working there greeting you in a kind way, taking your order, and wishing a good day as you left. Now the girls seemed bothered by customers presence and are angry and would rather talk to each other, which is disappointing. Service aside, the coffee is excellent and we’ve had quite a few of breakfast items and a few off the lunch over the last few years and always have loved it. ETA 1-08-21: I genuinely enjoy the food and I absolutely hate giving negative reviews, but the service lacks here from time to time.

I work locally and I only get 30 minute lunches, so I called 45 minutes in advance for a pickup order of two lunch combos. When it came to my pickup time, I stood outside for 15 minutes before I finally got my order and by the time I got to work, I had 5 minutes to eat. To top it off, one of the drink orders was incorrect. I'm usually really care free and lenient with the times because I know how difficult it is with food service, but this was a negative experience on my end.

My family was traveling across I80 and was looking for a spot to have lunch as there is very little in terms of places to stop on I80 in Pennsylvania. We went into Milton looking for a sandwich shop we had Googled with great reviews, the place must have been great as they were jammed packed. We strolled down the street and found Tastcraft. To our surprise we had a delightful, delicious lunch in a quiet cozy coffee shop. My brother and I both had the Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich, which was wonderful. The sandwich was perfectly prepared with chicken, bacon, cheese, spinach, tomato, and ranch on a toasted Chibata roll. My parent's both had the chicken salad, which they indicated was fantastic.
