A Hidden Gem in Milton – Two Wise Owls Delivers Local Flavor and Warmth! On our family’s spring break trip to NYC, we made an unplanned pit stop in Milton, PA, and unexpectedly stumbled across Two Wise Owls—what a delightful surprise! This charming little spot at 14 Broadway St. gave us a true taste of the quaint town’s local flavor and provided a refreshing lunch that hit all the right spots. The husband-and-wife team running the store were super friendly and genuinely excited to hear about our NYC adventure, even sharing some great tips on things to do there, which made the experience feel so personal and welcoming. The freshly prepared food was absolutely delicious and unique, showcasing their commitment to locally sourced ingredients. We loved the creative, healthy options—everything tasted so fresh and flavorful, a perfect break from typical road trip fare. The store itself was a treasure trove of goodies, with a few grocery items and a variety of knick-knacks available for purchase, which added to the charm of browsing this cozy spot. Two Wise Owls is a must-visit if you’re passing through Milton. It’s the kind of unexpected find that makes a trip memorable, and we’re so glad we stopped in!

I made a quick stop on my way down to Harrisburg, and was very pleased I chose Two Owls (come to think of it, I didn't inquire about the origin of the name). The vegan food was tasty and filling. 2 sweet potato empanadas and quinoa bowl (quinoa, marry me chickpeas, steamed broccoli and purple potatoes) made for a good lunch, and even had enough leftover for the drive home. They also had many wonderful things for sale. One thing that wasn't for sale were the painted rocks. I thought they were, but the owner (?) have me the one I picked out anyway, it was meant to be. I find out that it's a tradition in that area to leave such stones on hiking trails for others to find, so I'm my next trip down me and Mako will bring some stones from Rochester to spread on our hikes. Sorry, no pics of the food, I ate that.

This is a great place. I’m a huge foodie, have tried food all over the state and I can assure you this is one of the best in the area. Empanadas are clearly home made, and amazing. My husband gets the pulled pork BBQ and says it’s the best he’s ever had. The smoothies are also amazing, especially the blueberry. Love this place. Nice for a little date day to get a small lunch or even get some coffee. We get lunch and get some other food to take home and cook for dinner for an easy night. They prefer cash, it is local which is nice to support your local business. This is a must try.

I love The Two Owls! As a vegan in Milton, I am happy to have a place to eat & find options. Their grain bowls are amazing & they usually have a vegan empanada available AND they feature the local vegan Unbeetible Burger. I had it today & I couldn’t get over how delicious it is! They use Breaking Bread’s ciabatta for the bun, add chimichurri, black garlic hummus, vegan pepper jack cheese, lettuce & tomato for an incredible combination of plant-based flavors. I must admit that I do work here once a day, but I actually love the food & what they stand for. The owners are amazing people trying to make healthier locally sourced foods accessible to the Milton...
