I have ordered from this business in the past with no problems! Loved the desserts I ordered, so I was eager to place am order for another big day. I placed the order 3 weeks in advance via Instagram like she suggested. Didn't hear back after about 5 days so I reached out requesting an invoice. She took a day or two to respond and when she did she asked what did I want to order--I referred back to my original request a week prior. This scenario happened 2 additional times. I should have walked away and found another vendor--but because I had positive experiences in the past I looked past these 'red flags'. That's unfortunate. Needless to say, she never made my order that I'd placed 3 weeks before. The night before my schedule pick up she promised she would personally fulfill my order and have it ready. The next day when I was prepared to pick up she told me she thought it was for the following day. Oh. My. Gosh. I only submitted the date for pick no less than 3 separate times. I always try to patronage small businesses and I will continue to do so-- but this experience definitely should be a learning experience for those who have a business. Maybe invest in a web-based platform to track orders or something else. Using social media for tracking orders doesn't seem like the best platform for a burgeoning business. My first review was glowing because I was definitely pleased. This was when it was still operating out of her house. Unfortunately this review is based on my last experience. I needed an order for my daughter birthday party and the date that I needed it she was going to be just coming back from out of town but she still found time to squeeze me into her schedule. I thought that was awesome of her! So a day before it was time for me pick up my order I called the store just to confirm my pick up and her Mom answered the phone. I told her why I was calling and she asked for my name, then said I was down for a 2pm pick up which was not correct. So I nicely told her the correct time which was 11am even though the shop was closed and would not be open until 1pm, the owner was generous enough to let me pick up my items before the store actually opened that dayâŚ(thank you) long story short the mom was rude about the situation she was like âwell I wonât be here until 1pm I donât know nothing about what you and Kayla talked about you have to talk to herâ the way she said it was rude and is not how you speak to someone in customer service, I thought that was very unprofessional of her. There is an open sign on the outer door, a sorry we are closed in the picture window and all the flowers are dead and wilted throughout the place. There is a ring doorbell with a sign that says ring doorbell and make sure we can see you and hear you and give us a enough time to answer. Well after freezing in a hoodie and looking inside the windows this place is false advertising! It is absolutely nothing like the pictures, save yourself some time and go elsewhere! I wish someone would have warned me! Owner you also need to update your google listing, it's 3pm on a Wednesday and it looks like your shop hasn't been open for months, even though it says open right now.
