Fireside BBQ and Grill — Restaurant in Milwaukee

Despite the horrible reviews, I decided to try this place. The meat isn’t grill. It seems the meat is being boiled. The pictures don’t match up with the food nor taste. This restaurant is catfish and false advertisement! You cannot fool black people, especially ones who know how to cook, the price is outrageous. The potato salad is store purchased , from metro market. I brought some before, nothing is homemade. Everything is horrible, if you see good reviews. They have to be close family/friends. This place needs overall -1.1 rating not 3.7. Why waste time and money to opt a business. Not put time and effort into your business. That’s why I hate supporting black on businesses. They overcharge, bad customer service and no homemade food. People told me for years, I need to sell dinners or have a restaurant. That’s never been my dream. I learn to cook at a young age because I’m a woman and want to be married. They need to sell this business to someone with fire and passion. Natalie food truck that be on Lovers Lane and Hampton. Her BBQ IS INCREDIBLE, her sides are homemade. Only her and her husband runs it. Her spaghetti had meat, homemade greens, potato salad, yams, ribs, and desserts are impressive. I can tell she put her heart and soul into her food. Big Daddys food sucks too like Fire side , must be family. Horrible places for BBQ. If I can’t get to Natalie bbq truck, Tony’s , Heavens table Bbq or speed queen. I will never come back to fire side. They need to rebrand or hired real southern chefs. I get over 1M views on google, people take my reviews seriously!!! PLEASE DO NOT BELIEVE THEM WHEN THEY SAY THE MEAT IS FRESHLY GRILL BECAUSE IT IS Not. It’s mushy and nasty meat. Dear Fireside BBQ & Grill Management,

I am writing to express my profound disappointment with my recent takeout experience at your establishment on 11/15/24. I had high expectations based on your reputation, but unfortunately, the quality of food was absolutely unacceptable.

To begin with, the rib tips was bland and oven cooked, which made it not only unappetizing but also difficult to eat. The bake beans was overcooked and lacked any discernible flavor, leaving me questioning whether the ingredients were fresh. The presentation was also poor, with several dishes arriving cold and poorly plated. I was particularly surprised given the price of the meal, which I expected to reflect a much higher standard.

This experience has completely tarnished my impression of your restaurant, and I regret spending my time and money there. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and address the issues with both food quality and service, as this was far below any reasonable standard.

I look forward to your response and hope that you will take steps to rectify this...

So we ordered from Uber. Food got here on time. Looked good. Smelled good. As soon as I bit into the ribs it was mush. Not sure if they are boiled but the bones were complete mush. The mushy bone and marrow mixed in with the meat. Bad experience. Very disappointed. I’m guessing they don’t plan on this being made that way but these were the worst ribs I have ever had. Sauce was good. Smoke flavor was good but the mushy bones ruined the entire experience. The meat I did taste that wasnt mixed with bone and marrow was good. Fed it to my dogs. No lie. Called but phone just kept ringing. I’m guessing others are calling as well. Burger is average. My niece compared it to a McDonald’s burger. My guess is this was an off night or a bad guy prepping but nonetheless this is my experience. I wouldn’t pay to try them again. $66 for bad ribs and average burgers. I can go to McDonald’s for that.
