I know for me it's been about 15 years since I ever pulled up to a Checkers/ Rally's and don't get me wrong even after 15 years the burgers are still damn good. The fries also.
That being said I feel like I should talk about my experience that would explain why I've only given this a three-star.
Now I stopped in after doing some Uber runs in downtown Milwaukee back on Friday. Figured I'd get myself some dinner and dinner for my friends.
As I was ordering my food at the voice box I also had my friends in an open call listening in and giving me what they wanted. My total came out to $42 and some change. As I drove up to the window I handed over my card to complete the transaction, and was given three out of the four drinks that I ordered at first and waited until my food showed up to tell them that I'm missing one drink.
As I told the one person at the drive-thru would seem like a young girl, I tell her that I'm missing one drink that I ordered and they go and tell me that she never run it up. Yet when I place my order I made sure that there were four Burgers four fries and for drinks as meals.
So apparently she decided to close the window in a bit of a huff and I waited for my fourth drink to show up which it did, and I was even willing to go ahead and give them my credit card if they had forgotten to put that on there. Now I'm a reasonable person and I'm being cool about the situation.
After that I went back to my friends gave them all their food and come to find out that some of the burgers didn't have the extra meat Patty on them cuz I did request all of them be majors and they also forgot my apple pie that I in order too.
However that's not what I'm upset about. What I'm a little upset about is that I looked at my bank statement and found out I was charged 10 extra dollars for something that I didn't even order either that or I didn't receive.
My advice to any and all customers that go to this location to always ask for a receipt and check your receipt and make sure to check your bank statements to see if it also matches and also check your bags to make sure you got all your food.
As for this location I'd like to say that I really hope none of your staff have been going ahead and charging more for some reason or another.
I don't know when I'll ever be back down there but I certainly hope some things get a little bit better to make me change my mind and...
Read moreFirst and foremost, the operations appearance was soooo well put together. The appearance of employees working the food stations; of what I could see, employees were neat, hair was well contained, uniforms were not faded, wrinkled, sloppy, well fitted. The functionality of the environment was an example for other locations to witness. It minimized the concern of poor handling of food. Left the impression that they are responsible and respectful of their work environment and of who they are as individuals.
At my transaction I provided my Loyalty information and coupon. The first lady I was working with I could tell she just wanted the transaction to be done correct. However, a younger lady with thick lenses in black frames had a disposition and lack of manners; though she left wherever she was stationed to give the impression that she was stepping up to help. Still til the end she couldn’t manage to stay in her place.
Ultimately, the manager… a well groomed man helped us. I tried to explain that my coupon came from corporate and had nothing to do with my Loyalty membership… he spoke at me as if the issue was due to my attempt to apply my savings to my order. Apologetic for the poor experience I was having trying to complete my transaction; he was not. He perpetuated the same passive aggressive manner that the younger lady with the glasses was trying to spin.
Concluding, no matter what flaws the operations has from corporate to the community, the customer has nothing to do with it. Transitioning to resolve while ensuring the customer has no flack, should...
Read moreCustomer service is not consistent in this location, not allowing a add on at the window as simple as extra sauce seems to difficult for this staff at this location, they act like add ons is taking away from they’re pay check when all it’s doing is putting more money into the store. This location needs to learn to be more friendly to the customers who is keeping this location in business. Food is great but customer service sucks. The girl with pink hair don’t have a clue what she doing they don’t know how to work coupons or the mobile app coupons. They didn’t have on gloves or hairnets which is insane. Men and women need to have on hair nets when dealing with food hot or cold, a sun visor is not enough protection to keep hair from a random particles from your head to fall in the food, you learn that in your serve safe class. The owner should do a whole restaff and only hire ppl with food safety manager certification only then they will understand the real danger and safety when not dealing with food the proper way. You never know when a food critic/blogger like myself will walk into your...
