Carver Park — Attraction in Milwaukee

This park offers an outside swimming pool for children & adults. If swimming is not your cup of tea the park also has 3 baseball diamonds & a basketball court. Outside of offering the physical activities you can take a gentle stroll around the park & possibly see the Red-tailed hawk which I've spotted on 4 different occasions. This park also offers a sheltered restroom area & portable restrooms located around the park.

I really enjoy carver park. In the summer this is where the kickball league plays and helps give the park some life. Not only is the action competitive and fun to watch for friends and family of all ages BUT food truck vendors also come out to feed the crowd. This is just one of the amenities that the park brings. Love this park and its proximity to my apartment. I find myself walking through here as a shortcut to Bradford beach on the regular. It's a beautiful park with lots of hidden trails in the woods. The lighthouse to the north is also pretty cool.

Side note- wouldn't recommend walking through here at night (as most other parks in Milwaukee), but in the light of day it's...
