I visited this establishment on Saturday, 8/6/22. I was told their breakfast was very good. When we entered the restaurant it was full with no where to sit so we waited. It didn't take long before we were seated.
It took a few minutes to get the standard water and utensils but in fairness they were busy and there was only 3 working. Maybe 1 cook, someone helping prep maybe and waitressing and the other on the cash register and waitressing.
When it was time to order, I placed mine, asking for my eggs fried hard vs scrambled. The waitress said it comes with scrambled eggs, rolled her eyes around as if she was perturbed with my request, then asked the cook if the eggs could be fried. I asked if there was a problem when she responded this way and she continued taking the order.
While waiting for our food, which took a minute, the cashier would periodically scream something to the other employees that probably should have been discussed privately. The last scream identified that her drawer (cash register) was not balanced and the other employees needed to figure out why because she wasn't.
A lady sitting across from me stated she wanted more coffee. I asked if she was sure she wanted anyone to come over. She laughed and stated she was enjoying the entertainment. She was soon refilled.
After receiving payment for our bill and the associated tip, the cashiers behavior calmed until we left. I'm not necessarily associating the tip with her global change of behavior but we did receive more napkins without requesting them and our plates removed promptly when we were done eating.
I'm attaching a picture of the plates of food we received. It was marginal at best and not worth the cost. My husband's order was not correct but he is not one to send food back or ask for whatever is missing. In this case, I don't blame him. I recognize there are a number of George Webbs. The address for this one is on the menu.
I am not normally in this area. I was traveling through so I would not say all George Webbs are like this but my experience with this particular location would not be...
Read moreIf I could give this place a negative rating I would. I was here around 9:30pm tonight with my husband and daughter just trying to get something for us and my DISABLED mother-in-law. From the second we walked in the atmosphere was very uncomfortable. We walked over by the register to place our to go order and the waitress that was standing at the register walked away. So we stood there not saying anything to anybody just chit chatting amongst ourselves. Well the waitress was cleaning off a table while not only we stood there but two other tables were waited to get service. The waitress than walked over to the soup area and was slamming the metal tops around on the soup which set my anxiety off and caused me to start having an anxiety attack. My husband noticed immediately that I was having an attack and said "let's go somewhere else." So as we were walking out my husband told her, "Hey your pretty rude" and she started yelling, "Goodbye have a good night" like she was happy we were leaving. She was EXTREMELY rude and definitely doesn't belong in a restaurant!!!! The owner is saying they were slammed when there was LITERALLY 2 PEOPLE in the restaurant besides us. I work at a gas station and I GUARANTEE if I treated people the way she treated us I would lose my job REGARDLESS of how many staff there is!!!!! There is NO excuse for this behavior at all. If you can't handle STRESS maybe you shouldn't be...
Read moreI have only been to this location on two occasions. Unfortunately, each visit was unpleasant. On the first visit, my partner and I made to this location, we were unaware of the mask requirement which we had no issue with. However, a younger black woman with colored hair decided it necessary to jump into the conversation that was being had with the manager (Pam) and be as rude as a person could be to a customer. My partner and I decided to leave. Second visit on 10/18/2020 my partner and I arrive and place our orders.
I specifically requested a Ham Scrambler with no Ham because of religious purposes. And I hear in the kitchen Amy (our server) reminded the cook that there was suppose to be no ham. When they brought my partner's food to the table our server explained that they made it with ham, and I stated how when on the ticket it says no ham. Amy decides to become argumentive with me. Once we did request to speak with Pam, there was a brief argument and she even said to my partner, "JUST HUSH...."
This service is appalling. Besides this, you have servers swearing loud enough for all customers to hear. Going upon here and reading the owner's responses to negative comments upon his store I do not see this getting fixed. Just...
