JJ fish & Chicken — Restaurant in Milwaukee

I was one of the first reviews done for this place when they first opened. Since then the manager has placed someone else in the front to handle customers who has the worst customer service. Today I made it to the restaurant 3 minutes past the cutoff time for the lunch special. I was told that I was too late. As I proceeded to leave, the person working the front ensured me that he could make me an order to my liking. Needless to say when I made it back to my office my order was not right at all. As soon as I returned to the restaurant I was greeted with the worst attitude as if I did something wrong. So as I was not getting the service from this gentleman and I say that with hesitation. I asked for the manager which I waited approximately 10 more minutes for this guy to tell me that he doesn’t know where the manager was. After he saw that I was becoming more frustrated he displayed a high level of aggression as well as challenged me. While sitting outside writing this review this guy came outside and approached me at my vehicle... If I had not walked away there could have been a serious altercation. I felt challenged and disrespected as a man a would not recommend this establishment to anyone who is looking for excellent food...

The food here is very delicious but only if they get your order right and it doesn't take damn near an hour...but I definitely don't like liars and unpredictable unprofessional people. First off I called in my order and they said 15 minutes but when I got there they had no record of me placing my order or the ticket number they gave me...so I had to place it again. The Woman who took my order was very nice and apologetic and I gave her specific orders of how I wanted my wings cooked...So I placed my order again and came back 30 minutes later and my wings still wasn't cooked to my desired taste and the dudes in the back making my food was mad because it wasn't prepared the way I told them to cook it which is when I saw them just plop my food in the fryer with attitude and it seemed like they rushed it to me about 10 minutes later. I had been wanting to get something from here since I saw that it was going to be opening. I stay very close by. I didn't have to call my order in because it was empty inside and I went early in the day before noon. Otherwise I would recommend calling it in so it's ready to pick up when you get in. I arrived and within 10 minutes my food was ready so I just waited there. I got the catfish nuggets and some extra crispy gizzards.. I requested to have them fried hard. The gizzards were delicious but a little over seasoned with lemon pepper. The catfish nuggets...I would say maybe if you like catfish try a small meal first before getting the 1 pound of nuggets. I didn't enjoy them. Plus, they had tiny bones in them as expected but still.... (See pictures). They were cooked well, I just didn't like them. Buy your own hot sauce and bbq sauce too. Idk what brand they use but I didn't like the bbq sauce. I paid $16.95 in total for both meals and I got a lot of food, enough for 4...
