Center Street Park — Attraction in Milwaukee

Very nice park to take kids to as long as there are no events like today - June 7th between 11am-1pm when a boys club organIzation was there for a field day fieldtrip with a ton of kids who were bullying the neighborhood kids. No apparent supervision was around and i feel like that is an issue that needs to be addressed by the parks association who allowed them to rent the area. Just went to the ice skating rink for the first time! They have volunteers handing out skates (limited times and availability) for free! Check their website or Facebook page before assuming they have volunteers working though. They also have a decent amount of hockey being played which I'm excited about. This is a nice place for the children to hangout and play a game of baseball during the summer and stay out of trouble. In the winter sometimes they have an area where you can strap on some ice skates and skate around for free. Not the best neighborhood though. I know of a couple walking through their that got robbed at gunpoint and this is a normal thing that happens...
