A new friend recommended this place to us. We are so glad she did. It was so much more than a place to eat. It was a beautiful escape into another culture. The inside is a small mama/papa restaurant. As a survival from covid they extended their services to the back patio. As we walked between the close buildings we were transferred from a busy city street of Milwaukee to Mexico. Spacious, festive. On one side is a slushie bar. The rest is several spread apart tables mostly in shade naturally or by umbrellas. Peaceful little trees,plants, bird chirping, music to tap foot to, colorful flags above you. The menu has many options but not too long . I selected ensalada de pollo... A fresh chicken salad.... Delicious. Perfect summer day plate. A little shredded lettuce, grilled chicken, avocado,sourcream, tomato and cucumber. Plus, my favorite.... mushroom.
