Scordato Bakery Inc — Restaurant in Milwaukee

This review comes from Ms. Widen's 1st grade class at Glenwood Elementary School:

Our whole class went to a bakery called Scordato Bakery. In our opinion, everyone should try Scordato's.

One reason we recommend Scordato's is because they were super kind and helpful, and the service was fast.

The second reason is the prices were affordable. We were able to get cookies for our whole class and some adults in our school for a low price.

A third reason we recommend Scordato's is that even though the shop is small, it fit all of us inside. The shop was clean and organized.

Another thing we really liked was the variety of cookies. There were so many treats to choose from. With so much variety, it was hard to choose just one!

Most importantly, the food is delicious. Here are some quotes from the first grade shoppers:

"My favorite was the lemon. It was so good and a little sour."

This was a shock to find this establishment 40 minutes from my compound. A small place in a strip mall but a complete mouth watering delight once inside. First-the woman behind the counter was very patient with us cause I was drooling all over while scrambling my eyes from each display case. For what I purchased was still less expensive from bakeries in my neighborhood. Cookies-they ARE melt in your mouth gems. This container WAS full when we arrived home until the cookie pirate's arrived after 9 pm. Note: you will NOT crack a tooth when biting into these biscattiis. (Sp..I know....shaking from reflecting from last night's excellent adventure) Even their sides of potatoe salad and cole slaw were great with the Italian sausage we had for dinner. Planning my next return since I saw they do the ham and rolls...

Visited this bakery for the first time today and when I left I smiled and said jackpot! What a delightful and delicious family bakery. Being I was a first time customer I was treated to several samples of their sweet treats. It would be hard to choose if i could only pick one. They have dozens of cookies I've never seen before. Also got some historical background. How I never knew about Scordato's before is beyond me however I am so happy I know now. If you appreciate made from scratch, with limited ingredients and no preservatives breads and sweet treats; if you appreciate being treated as a special guest, then this bakery is a must.
