Smokin' Jack's BBQ (Brown Deer Road) — Restaurant in Milwaukee

Can no longer recommend. Something suspicious is going on here. It's like they get leftover food from other restaurants and then sell it here.

Order from here the same dish but on different days. It will look and taste completely different.

You'll see.

First time, rib tips were cut perfectly (for me) Midwest style. One or two bites each. Seasoned well, dips right into sauce cup. I thought I found a great spot. Nevermind that the kitchen is hidden from view.

Next 3 times, completely different cuts, cooking method, and taste. Gave me 5 fat bricks of meat. 1 piece was just a bone.

Macaroni was unavailable. Yet a Doordash order came in and got Macaroni. I asked about it, they said it's removed from the store menu temporarily. And that they have to make it from scratch for Doordash menu orders.

So they don't make all Macaroni from scratch? Then how is it normally made?

How is it that none of the rib orders (no sauce)...

Jack personally prepared the food for me. I ordered a 3 combo with 2 sides, ribs, rib tips, and brisket with beans and potatoes salad. I also order a side of Mac and cheese. The food was so delicious. The brisket was my favorite and so tender and juicy with the best BBQ sauce ever. The ribs were so meaty and seasoned off the grill was definitely the flavor I got from 1 bite. The rib tips were good and a good size portion. The Mac and cheese needed some salt and black pepper but it was seasoned well and very tasty. The beans were one of my favorites, just simple and taste so good. The potatoes salad was a good side to the food and gave it more flavor. Overall 10/10 on the food, 10/10 on the service, 10/10 on cleanliness of facility, 10/10 on portion sized food for cost. We ordered 2 Brisket Nachos w/ extra cheese and no tomatoes. This is our second time ordering from here. The first time was good (plus we ordered other items) but this second time was horrible. First, there was NO extra cheese, there was hardly any cheese at all. Half of the container chips had no cheese on them. Just dry chips. Second, we wanted Brisket, all we got was Brisket Fat and there was soooo much BBQ sauce on top, which we realized was to cover up there was no Brisket underneath, just small pieces of Brisket Fat. You guys should be ashamed selling/ serving us that. If you weren't far away I would have driven it back and got my money back. There was barely any sour cream on it and it didn't have any onions, none. You put way too much BBQ sauce on it. We wanted Brisket Nachos w extra cheese, not Brisket BBQ Sauce Nachos w No Cheese!...
