It’s been a couple years since the move and the remodel of the local Pizza Hut. Let me say this when they first opened pre-Covid. That place was great. It had the closest thing to a sports bar atmosphere that you could get. They had alcohol on tap beer of course not liquor. They had a bar you could sit at and actually watch the pizzas being made which I thought was really cool. they had music that was constantly going in the background also very cool and then Covid came. Nothing changed about that store. Let me just get that straight. It has become a pick up or delivery establishment (even though it’s not). I put that on the staff. Strike that, upper management. But the upper management is held to a specific standard and process that they are supposedly held to by corporation run Pizza Hut. The same thing happened to another pizza place that has sits closed down here in Minden and I do believe that for the job that’s being done and the pay that is given for said job I believe people have become lackadaisical in their job and it’s hard when you hire someone that does a great job and you can only pay them so much. They figure out that they’re worth more and therefore end up leaving and you’re stuck with subpar employees. Now that being said, I didn’t call everyone out at this establishment. I will be very clear to say that there have been a handful of times that I have visited this place and had exemplary service. Service where the manager and employees cater to my needs and took care of me regardless of what was going on they took care of me and made sure that I was satisfied with my dinner/dining experience. The food is fantastic. It always has been. It always will be in my opinion. Good stuff. The service would get a five star had I not had runs in the past with employees that really didn’t care and I’m pretty sure that they are not there anymore. So should be a five star but because of some other people it’s not, and the atmosphere would be a five if people actually came and sat down to eat there like they used to BEFORE covid. ( I know this review sounds like it’s personal but assure me that it is not it’s just that I have visited this restaurant more than 50 times in the past year and therefore I do know a little bit of what’s going on at the establishment). Read moreUpdate:1/6/23 Decided to do a pickup and give you 1 last chance. Boy was I wrong. First got a text saying my order was ready. Get there and was told it's going to be another 15 minutes. While waiting the things I witnessed happening has made me want to call and report to the health department and corporate. While watching the guy boxing the food up, I knew that I was going to have to complain again about part of my order missing. Which I was right. So because apparently no one knows how to read. I had to wait another 10 minutes for boneless chicken wings. So in all it took an hour to get a pickup. Food was cold by the time I got it home. Cheesebread wasn't cooked all the way. The guy boxing the food had trays of pizza sitting 2 feet off the floor, sitting on the racks where the boxes go. Taking food from the top oven and setting them on the bottom oven. I've never seen a pizza place so unorganized. I ran a pizza place and was so disgusted that I will never order from here again. You never ever put food close to the floor. The guy doing dishes ran past the food with dirty dishes from the make line and could have easily dropped anything on that food. People working there could have easliet had hair fall onto the food. I understand being understaffed. I've worked 80hrs in one week when I ran a pizza place. You box food as it comes out. Labels instead of receipts would probably help all the mix ups.

Read moreBad night for pizza hut and worse night for their customers. I ordered a pizza online at 4:30 p.m. And never got it. I spoke with Manager Tiesa at 6 pm who said “I just walked into this chaos and I don’t know what's going on”. I explained that I placed an order and never received it. She apologized and advised that the pizza should be there shortly. She offered a credit but I declined that. I told her I would wait another 25 minutes and then I would need a refund. She agreed. Well the pizza never came. When I called back she advised that she didn't know how to do a refund and Ryan the other manager was the only one who knew how. However one of their drivers had a car accident and Ryan was doing the deliveries so he was not available. So now I have no one to do a refund. I guess I have to stay up all night calling, in hopes that I can get a refund for food I have never received. Currently a guy at this establishment has placed me on hold and we are 16 minutes in and counting. Once this refund issue is resolved I will have to part ways permanently...
