Seemed that for mass producing large quantities of food, there is quite a bit of quality that is lost, in order to make it cheap for travellers. I decided to make an exception this morning to get a coffee and a steak, cheese bagel. It has sealed my known image of McD's. My caramel macchiato with whole fat creamer tasted like hot milk, with no coffee or caramel. I thought maybe the caramel was on the bottom, so I stirred it to fight for some sort of sweetness, to no avail. Still did NOT taste like coffee let alone a sweet drink. The only thing going for that was it was hot. The steak bagel was fine, other than it looked like it was smashed on there quickly because it was hanging off the bun so much that when I unwrapped it, it fell apart in my lap.
