04/15/2023. Absolutely fantastic! I’m disappointed I had not visited this place sooner. My wife and I had the most pleasurable experience. Our server Emmy was patient with our questions and knew exactly what each item contained and how it is prepared. We began with an Irish lemonade for each of us. Jameson with lemonade blackberry and peach. What a nice refreshing drink. Paired that with the crab stuffed shrimp for an appetizer. 4 large flattened shrimp with a heaping tablespoon of crab cake type stuffing, topped with a cream sauce tasting of lemon and dill. Delicious. Warm bread was also delivered along with soft butter. Something other establishments miss on. For our entrees my wife and I both settled on the special, which was a 6oz Filet Mignon topped with an antipasto salad consisting of artichokes, prosciutto, roasted red peppers and something I’m forgetting, shaved Parmesan and a balsamic drizzle. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed it. We both ordered them medium rare and they were perfect. Our sides were chicken gnocchi soup and smashed redskin potatoes. The soup was sooooo good, full of flavor and the gnocchi were like pillows from heaven. If I had one tiny thing to nitpick the potatoes seemed like an afterthought. While good just not up to the level of the things we had already been presented. We were both pretty full but since things had gone so well to this point we just had to try dessert. Another tough choice as all four options presented to us looked tasty. So we each got one, took the other two home as well as the rest of what we couldn’t eat because her coconut cake was huge as well as my chocolate peanut butter mousse. All were some of the best desserts we have had while at a restaurant in years. And even the coffee was fresh and delicious. Hart Mansion is all that and a bag of chips. A 45 minute drive for us but I would go back today if someone wanted me to go and think nothing of it. It was that good. There were so many things on the menu I’d like to try. Have visited many times, service and food were always good. This visit we called 2 weeks ahead as we were planning to have a large party, they agreed to seat us upstairs. When we arrived they changed the plan and had us seated in the dining room downstairs at many tables taking away from the atmosphere of being together away. We reminded the hostess and she explained that could serve us better downstairs. One of the orders were wrong and my wife's food arrived with a hair in it. The food issues were corrected and fresh plates delivered to the table. No apologies from the staff, no visit from the manager, and no offer of reduction in total due (not that we expected that anyway) honestly just expected a little better treatment, based on...

This restaurant's atmosphere is awesome! My husband and I like it a lot. They remodel the home to become a restaurant. You have to reserve before you go. We didn't know that, but luckily they had some spare tables for you.

My husband ordered steak 14 oz. and our waitress asked what side did he want as it came with steak, so we just order the pasta for a side. But when we saw the bill, they charged us for $1.50 (I know it's just $1.50 but she said the side will come with the steak, of cause that we would think it has no extra charge.).
