The last time we were at Patrick's, it was years ago before they had dinner service and we just stopped by for some desserts. The desserts are OK. As my dude likes to say: Good, but nothing to write home about. This time, we had dinner and the food was delicious. We ordered the rack of lamb... superb... Coq Au Vin was good, a little dry, but not too dry for our cat to turn her nose up at, and the scallops appetizer was luscious. It was light, but if you eat the whole complimentary baguette of French bread with it, it makes for a fine entree. Although we had to wait longer than usual to pay our bill (seemed like they were short staffed), overall service was good.

This place is a hidden gem! The smoked pulled chicken sandwich was spectacular, and they cook the bun so that it has a slight warm crisp to it. We also got the quiche Loraine which was great, and came with a side salad as well. The seating area and cafe feels like a European outdoor cafe, and you're covered with daylight from the glass ceilings. We went here during a rainy morning to shop, and wound up having a great brunch.

This Patrick's location has a lot smaller menu than the one near Southdale, but it definitely has its own charm. It's generally also a lot less busy so you can go there for peace and quiet, or as a quick stop when you're already shopping at Bachman's. Perfect for a Sunday afternoon or for lunch on a day off. The French onion soup is really nice and is available almost every day. I also recommend the brie & fig sandwich.

It's quite spendy if it's your first time, like it was mine, the lady that takes your order is very short, rude & doest speak very clearly or very good english. The people behind the counter are also very short & they also have very little patience. It's a busy place & they rush you threw the line so fast it made me more confused. I'd recommend to those with money. The lady that was clearing tables was the most help of all. She was so kind & smiling the hole time. Birds are flying around so watch out for them dropping a surprise on you or your food. It is a beautiful place to look around while your eating. It's almost like your outside. I'd recommend this place for its terrific portions & atmosphere. Enjoy your shopping at Bachmans since your right in the middle of this store while eating. Tons of beautiful items. A very big place; don't get lost in there. Prices are high. It's very organized & clean. Most of the employees were nice but some not so much. Restroom could have been attended to a bit better. I'd recommend to friends & family. Thank you for a...
