Rated a 3 because the store hours, especially since Covid situation. Would have been a 4 but some employees just give-off a stand-off kind of feeling...Like trying to just polite because they're supposed to...Not because they're genuinely interested in communicating with you. This I've found to experience at this location, but also a little bit at the 66th St location too, yet the Penn Ave store has had a lot more relaxed reception. All locations can be overall more expensive than other stores, but for what I buy they're pretty competivly priced. 🍷 Want wine? I recommend Trader Joe's & Total Wine (494 & France). Cheaper & open later too! Plus, if you buy ANYTHING at Trader Joe's & just didn't like it they gladly refund you for it...Even...

This is my neighborhood liquor store. Joe is the BEST!! He has been a neighbor in the way he interacts for years and that is sometimes hard to come by these days. Tonight he offered to help me carry my purchases. Joe is the real deal and makes this place feel like a neighborhood community place. I look forward to interacting with Joe as often as possible. Almost all of the folks that work at this store are genuinely interactive and make it truly feel like a neighborhood...

This is a local municipal liquor store with a good selection of beer, wine, and spirits. Their prices are not the cheapest in town, but they are convenient and service is good. 10% discounts are offered on Mondays for wine and Tuesdays for Seniors (I might have days reversed).
