** update on this review Pizza Hut stole my money. I forgot to add that after leaving my burnt, dehydrated day-old looking "pizza" at the restaurant in disgust, I did call my bank as suggested by the manager to cancel payment and my bank canceled it. Weeks later I recieved a letter from my bank informing me that the restaurant went to the trouble of contacting Visa and forced the payment which caused my bank to reverse the canceled payment. They took 38 dollars from my bank account for food I didn't even eat.
Original review: I'm a frequent customer and order carryout at least once a week from this location. As usual I ordered carryout online and brought my pizza home but realized this time it was made wrong and looked like it had been sitting around all day. The crust was like a rock and the cheese was black and so cold. I ordered extra sauce but when I tried to peel the cold cheese back, it stuck to the dry crust underneath. It was bone dry, all I could see was pizza crust once I finally peeled the cheese back, it had no sauce. I tried calling the restaurant 5 times but no one picked up so I brought the pizza all the way back to the restaurant to have them remake it.
When I got there the manager was sitting outside on the ground on her phone, smoking a cigarette in front of the store. She watched me walk in the restaurant and stayed outside to finish her cigarette. An employee inside who looked like he was on drugs, approached me as I stood at the counter and looked at me like he was ready to fight. When I told him about my pizza he responded with major attitude and said "well I'm not the manager" and stomped out to the front where the woman smoking was and stayed there chatting for a few minutes. Once she finally came inside, she didn't bother to wash her hands. I was very respectful and showed her the pizza and explained what was wrong. She adamantly stated "thats how it is" I showed her how the crust was old and rock hard and half the cheese had burned and it had no sauce on it she just looked me in my face and insisted it had extra sauce the way I ordered it, I showed her it had no sauce and she repeated "that's how it is" and insisted the pizza was normal. It was clearly trash, asked if she would eat it, she said yes. I kindly asked if she would remake it and she refused and when I asked for a refund she refused to refund my money either telling me to call my bank if I want my money back.
She kept the pizza and I left the the restaurant in disbelief. I'll never forget how much of a miserable experience I had with that disgusting woman. I've work in management and customer service my whole adult life and I would never dream of treating someone the way she treated me. She should be ashamed to be a manager and be fired immediately. What a sad and pathetic way to treat a...
Read moreI hate this place. I honestly have no idea how this place functions as a business. I went in and ordered a pizza from a friendly but drained employee, who was clearly at the end of a shift. I came back to the store at my pickup time and was told by a large sweaty man, who was speaking russian into an ear peice, that my pizza wasnt ready. As I was waiting an elderly man and three children got their food. As he was walking out he whispered something to the kids and the ran into the kitchen area and grabbed a bunch of 2 liter bottles of soda. He held the door open and they sprinted out. All the staff started swearing and sprinting around. It looked like the sweaty man was about to burst a vein. Apparently, they knew the elderly man though. I ended up waiting there as the whole restaurant took a smoke break together. 20 minutes later, they filtered back in and I asked again for the pizza. The sweaty man rolled some thoughts through his head as beads of sweat poured down on the counter. Apparently, the thoughts didn't amount to much because he started pacing around the kitchen while speaking into his ear piece. I finally got a line cooks attention. he walked over and grabbed my pizza from under the counter. It had been sitting there the whole time. The sweaty mouth breather just didn't look down. The pizza was...
Read moreI've generally had a good experience with this store until today. Today our pizzas never showed up, so I finally called the store and they said they were delivered, and I told them they're not here. The person I spoke to said the driver tried to call - and to be fair I did miss their call - but that's sort of irrelevant being that the driver clearly left them at the wrong house anyway. I was sitting here in the living room watching for them the whole time. The person I spoke to talked to her manager and said that THIS TIME they would remake the order and send it out, but that didn't really sit right as it implies that it's my fault for missing the driver's call, and not their fault for taking it to the wrong house in the first place. So now I feel the need to put them on blast which I would really rather not do. Honest mistake, but not handled well at all...
Update: I went on Nextdoor and found out where our pizzas were actually delivered. I then called the store and talked to the same woman I talked to before. I wasn't rude - just wanted to let them know where they actually took our pizzas. She just said thanks. No apology. Really doubling down on the...
