Revised from statement below: I received a call from the manager shortly after and got an apology and she was super nice and I understood where she is coming from. And she definitely redeemed herself and got compensated fairly! :) No hard feelings what so ever and I definitely recommend coming and getting all your sweet needs!!! :)
So I've been going to this bakery for about a year now. And their donuts and sweets are amazing. But I had the worst customer experiences I think I've had with a business today and I'm very disappointed.
I placed a special with some writing on the donuts for a good coworker of mine. I gave my coworker her surprise and it was missing one of her favorite items! :( Those yummy cupcakes!!! Luckily you guys were on top of it and gave me a call to come pick it up. They would make me a fresh one
I told them I could pick it up Monday, so today around noon - 1-ish I went in and asked the lady working there that I had placed a special order, there was a mistake, and I'm here to pick up a carrot cake cupcake that was missed. She said "I don't know what you're talking sbout", blank awkward stare, asked for my name, then the other lady showed her where they placed it.
I then asked if the offer anything complimentary for the mistake on the special order. One of the lady looked at me like I was crazy and said "I never had anyone ask that" I said "I don't want to make anything tough for anyone I just thought I'd asked" I thought Most businesses will make up for their mistake to keep business you know. But I felt sooo guilty for Their Mistake on My Order? :(
Then when she said "I guess I can give you a donut hole" I felt like an A**hole for even asking! And I got the worst side eye you could imagine!!! Then while I was leaving she said "You could have just got your money back and not have come in" Like wow...okay way to make me feel even more bad...just rude.
Just so dissapointed because their...
Read moreI don't usually take time to make comments and like a Midwesterner, I hardly ever deviate from being agreeable/non-confrontational, to almost a stupid level, but today was not appreciated. We stopped here for my partner's birthday and he loves pie. We knew we wouldn't be able to eat the whole thing, so we wanted to split it in half with our family we were about to meet up with at a restaurant. We asked if they could give us another pie pan (aluminum) and they looked us dead in the face and said "they didn't have any." If that's the case, that's concerning since this is a bakery. We would have paid for it, but it was clear they weren't game for considerations. When we then asked if they had a knife to at least help us out to cut it in half, they said no. So I'm not sure I can recommend this place since they seem to have missing tools necessary to bake. They did give us another clear pie carrying container (after us asking), so that was helpful. We recognize these people aren't representative of the entire establishment, per say, but seriously. The cookies were okay and the pie was so full of liquid that, once cut, the bottom separated and we ended up with a tenting of crust with apple filling running out and no bottom. Maybe that's part of why they refused to cut it in store? Maybe it needs to be cut only once warm, but communicating that would have been great if so. We don't think you need to stop here - for the odd service or the...
Read moreCalled looking for lemon bars and they had some! when I walked in it gave me an old town bakery vibes 🥰 not the best lighting no decorations, simple to the point. They sell donuts 🍩 cookies and bars. I originally came for lemon bars I wanted to get one of 🤤 everything after looking lol they have 7 different bars. The bars are small and I feel they could lower the price to a dollar per square they also have small Cookies that are .75 a piece 😩 but I got 6 even tho they are small and .75 a piece they are one of the best cookies around you can taste the love and Butter I got one pecan toffee crunch, one chocolate chip, two oatmeal raisins and two peanut butter. They were delicious my favorite was the almond toffee. @crumble cookie is trash compared to them. The lemon bars are sweet and tart but so tiny I wish both cookies and bars were bigger for the price. I wanted to try a donut but they were $3 over all great experience it’s a special treat thing so if you’re not worried about price and have a sweet tooth like me go check them out. I will be back to Check out...
