I live in the neighborhood and come to this Starbucks in particular because of the phenomenal service I receive from Nev, Juan and Sam. I come about 4 times a week( sad to admit). Several months back the moral of the store went down. So as my long review starts, I went in on a Saturday morning, watched this "manager" do nothing to help his clearly understaffed location. He seemed helpless like a trainee but wore a manger name tag I waited over 25 minutes for a basic iced Chai asking 2 times during my wait where my drink was? (Did he forget to put it in the system since he obviously did not know how to take an order or payment.internal thoughts) This man informed me in such a annoyed tone that mobile orders take priority I then informed him I've been waiting 25 minutes and seen at least 20 people come and go which is ridiculous, he denied me a refund or gift card, probably because he didnt know how to produce one. Then extremely rudely demanded an employee standing next to him make my drink whilst he was making other drinks... This man has no business being a manager let alone working in a customer service/ hospitality role. He was rude, condescending and most importantly not hospitable. One would expect that if you choose to work in hospitality you know how to help guests, keep the team motivated and keep it smooth. This man is clueless and should seriously reconsider his job choices, not a front facing customer...
Read moreI went to the local Starbucks to order white mocha for myself and attempted to add Madeline cookies for my kids. The barista said, " you can't add to your order." This is the first time I was hearing this so I pushed back a little and asked again if he could add the cookies.
The barista said "no." I asked a third time and this time he paused and made his way to the back of the store. He came back to report there were no cookies. My response, "how convenient." His, "it happens." I called my sister who encouraged me to contact the store.
I called the store and asked to speak to the manager. I spoke with her and she confirmed that the policy I was told did not exists and they had Madeline cookies. She apologized for the baristas behavior and asked me to come back to get the cookies and a gift card.
I drove back and went into the store. I asked the manager if I could speak with the barista. She and the barista went to the back of the store and he came out and apologized. I asked him about the policy he used when I was at the window and about the cookies.
He was not in a place to own his mistakes but I told him the policy does not exist and the store had the cookies i had asked for. I ended my conversation with a request, " do better." I hope he was...
Read more1st time experience, ordered 2 drinks and at the 15 minute mark I had expressed concern as to where is it or what is going on? Talked to Ned the supervisor and she had said it was only 5 minutes, showed her my text message at the 15 minute mark. She says they handle mobile orders 1st and 1 minute later some lady got her drinks . Basically Nothing had been done and it was pushing the 20 minute mark. Very rude customer service and asked for money back, says she was going to process it after customers had checked out at register. I asked can You process it without me being there, o reply, asked again and rude reply to wait for customers . I then said I'm leaving and walked out holding the bird, she says have a nice day 2 times . 3 days later no refund and talked to Jacey the district mangaer, she apoligized and said she will have a talk with the store manager soon. called store and talked with Ned and she says she wasnt going to refund my money. I said it's going to happen and and will follow up the district manager again, she says I will wait for the call. If you don't like your job ? quit !
