We gave a chance for our poor experience to be reconciled and were just as disappointed with the lack of follow up as we were with our cold, late pizza. We ordered a pizza (literally to be delivered a 3 minute drive away). Our pizza did not arrive for about 1 hour and 25 minutes. I had called multiple times (it took 8+ phone calls to reach a person 3 times). The first call we were told the driver had a delivery in Vail and would get to us ASAP. 1 hour and 20 minutes later we called to cancel our pizza and were told that it was already enroute but that we would be called by a manager in the AM to credit our pizza. The pizza finally arrived and was barely lukewarm...as it apparently was also waiting for the vail delivery. Additionally we never received a call the following morning. Taking it upon myself to try to reconcile the situation, I called the restaurant and spoke to a manager that told me that he was unable to help me with my situation and could barely even apologize for it, let alone refund the pizza- this sort of thing was for the owner to deal with. Again, I was told I would receive a call back and have yet to hear a word. I waited to post this review in hopes of something promising but was extremely disappointed with how poorly this was handled.
Long story short....new management is a serious downgrade. Will not...
Read moreShh... don't tell the folks blowing past the exit for Minturn, CO on I-70 rushing on to Vail, Aspen or Breckenridge, that they just blew past the best kept secret of a fun Pizzaria, Burgers n Pub. My GPS misdirected me on my way east to Colorado, Springs and sent me through Minturn. Good thing! I hate fast food joints, and crowded trendy restaurants full of people there to be seen. We prefer to relax, sup in peace and take pleasure in simple great food and unpretentious company. When we realized the navigational error, our stomachs grumbled for sustenance, and our backs and legs cried for a break from the road werry miles. Only one restaurant in the middle of the week was open at the 3:00 PM hour, Magustos! There was one patron, the manager, the cook and the two of us. The mountain air and comfortable afternoon temps carried us to the patio dining area with great views of the mountains, trees and secluded alpine village homes with a cool breeze refreshing our spirits.
We ordered an appetizer of hummus, veggies and pita brea, clam chowder and entrees of Rubin Sandwiches and sweet potato fries. Wow, all of them were excellent, the manager was professional and affable. Our wrong turn became a rejuvenating, delectable, dining recuperation. We hit the road again reinvigorated, what a wonderful...
Read moreLiterally the worst food i have ever eaten tonight after 1 bite I nearly vomited and threw out our pizza and calzone it was the worst service ever. Over 2 hour delivery I live 3 miles away..... Ice cold when arrived. Horrible presentation burnt and no effort put into this food whatsoever. McDonald's is better. New owners, probably sold to a drunk friend where young hippie drug dealers hang out. shittiest place on the planet tried to get my money back over the phone and was hung up on after a 7 minute wait, then I call back and "the manager JUST LEFT hell call you when" yeah.... Takes my number, never called back. If the world was ending and I found their restaurant I wouldnt eat it out of fear of they're rotten walk in and bad habits my "buffalo chicken calzone" consisted of chicken tenders that disintegrated in my mouth like wet white bread. I am so angry because I'm not made of money always getting scammed in this tourist trap scam of a valley trying to live my life on pennies while people capitalize off of terrible service and not caring about food. Don't sell it if you can't do it, sell alcohol because you would need to be black out drunk to enjoy this food and even then I wouldn't and I would vomit from the food...
