I recently visited LA Bakery with the hope of enjoying some Haitian Patties and a soda. Unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant, and I feel compelled to share my feedback.
Upon arriving, I sent my daughter inside to make the purchase. She accidentally picked up a lemonade instead of the Jupina soda I had requested. I immediately called out to correct the order, and my intention was merely to exchange the lemonade for the soda I wanted. However, things took an unexpected turn.
The staff member inside the bakery refused to make the simple exchange. I was not seeking a refund; I only wanted the correct item. To my disappointment, my polite request was denied. In an effort to resolve the matter, I went inside the bakery myself, hoping for a more understanding response. Regrettably, my request for an exchange was still declined.
What upset me most was not the inconvenience of receiving the wrong drink but the poor customer service I encountered. As a first-time visitor to LA Bakery, this experience left a lasting negative impression. To add to the disappointment, the Patties I purchased were not even fresh, which further diminished my overall satisfaction.
I understand that businesses may receive mixed feedback, but I couldn't help but notice that there have been numerous unfavorable reviews about this establishment, and it appears that little has been done to address these concerns.
I strongly believe that customer service is a fundamental aspect of any successful business. It is with this in mind that I feel compelled to share my experience. I sincerely hope that LA Bakery takes this feedback constructively and considers revisiting their approach to customer service. While I may have had a disappointing visit, I genuinely wish for improvements in the future, as I have no plans to return to this...
Read moreGenerally the food is alright, but the customer service is horrible. I tried to make an order from the bakery. I work in Miami, but I wanted order food for an event tonight. They told me I had to pay up front. I had no problem with that. So I offered my credit card and I was told the machines were down. I said I understood but I still need the food and I would be there before they closed. I emphasized that this was very important and that I would be there to pick up the food. The person who answered the phone was very rude and snide with his remarks. I would understand if this was a custom order but it was just for chicken patties, which they sell in abundance anyway. He didn't even try to accommodate and offer to hold them on the side for me, even though it was thier own machine that was malfunctioning. You lost a customer. Not because of the machine malfunctioning, because that can happen to any one at any time. It was the lack of professionalism...
Read moreI stopped going there once that guy that is definitely not the owner was offended and became very disrespectful to me because I asked for freshly made bread which they usually have. He's not part of their family I can tell. Those that are family all look alike, nice and good looking definitely educated. He's the complete opposite. They should keep him in the back. You don't put people like this in front of your business. Haitien people don't care about reviews, because they know they loose you someone else will come. I should know better. Let me eat Publix bread now where respect is mandatory to...
