Puce Patisserie — Restaurant in Miramar

A friend referred us here as it was my grandmas birthday and was looking for a place to bake her birthday cake. Went there one morning to taste some of their cakes. We tried their mini bundt sized plain Haitian cake and a rum infused cake (sorry, no photos). They had great density like typical Haitian cakes, and they both had great flavor, however, they lacked on moisture and crumbly. If I'd choose one, it would be the rum since it added a bit of that moisture I was looking for. Definitely would be great with some Kremas.

We also tried their patties and I must say, they were delicious. Great filling ratio and flavorful. It was reminiscent of our traditional Haitian flaky-buttery patties. Probably our fave on our quest to find a bakery. Ultimately, we didn't order the cake here. But staff were super friendly and accommodating and the space was open and welcoming.

Management, nice job here. Keep up...

I came here over the weekend and left with so many goodies because they were so good! I tried the beef patty, griot patty (pork), herring patty, rum cake, Napoleon pastry, and their fresh soursop juice. everything was so flavorful, well seasoned, and fresh. I especially love the sour soft juice because they use the actual fruit not the concentrate pulp you buy in the stores So it tasted amazing. They also have passionfruit juice that I tried, which was really really good. Everything is also well priced too! I will definitely be coming back for food and to order a custom cake because the cakes they had on display...

I went there this morning after coming across their page on Instagram.. I must say I was impressed!. The patties are very fresh, light, and buttery. Not greasy at all! These are the best Haitian patties I've ever had!!. In addition to that, the customer service is TOP TIER! Which is rare in our Haitian restaurant industry. The lady up front was so polite and patient while I figured out what I wanted to order. I came from a far drive and definitely will be back again soon.

S/N: My 1-year-old son ate 2 patties back to back (and wanted a 3rd,lol) the moment I got home with the box....
